PROPHETIC SCRIPTURES.\
Today the Bible opened to 1 Chronicles Chapter 4. This is among the lists of genealogies of the tribes of Israel. Several years ago, I was informed that in myan parts of this world,in the middle east,that these chapters have great meaning as the people there often know that its their personal ancestry. In ancient times rarely were women mentioned, so one must have been very special for them to make the list.
the following scriptures had special meaning for me to day but one thing seemed clear:
Later enemies were blood related and the history gets forgotten. we often go to war with our own families.
WHAT WILL YOU BE REMEMBERED FOR? after times and much history has passed on?
Verse 1. "The sons of Judah were Perez, Hezron, Carmi, Hur, and Shobal..."
Verse 3."...their sister was Hazelelponi..."
verse 4.'...firstborn of Ephrathah, the father of BBethlehem."
verse 9. "..Jabez was more honorable.."
verse 14."...for they were craftsmen."
verse 19."...these were the sons of Bithiah, the daughter of Pharoah whom Mered took."
verse . 21."...the linen workers..."
verse .22. " also Jokim...the men of Chozeba, .... Saraph who ruled in Moab...now the records are ancientt..."
verse 23. "These were the potters...dwelt with king for his work
Only one had a remembrance for being honorable. Not that the others weren't, but one was remembered for it.
