                   Today the Bible opened to  Romans Chapter 7. Non Christians are welcome  the general wisdom of the words.
A lot of interpretations exist on this chapter. one thought was: watch out for the examples one uses to explain a point. St Paul used an example of marriage in his time and culture and the example has been used as the general meaning of the chapter, very often, instead of the point he was trying to make.  But there are components of marriage which are universal for all times. We are born of flesh and laws are needed for that part of us, but in Christ we are spiritual and if the love of Christ indwells in us as t His Holy Spirit and we follow Him, then our love for one another overcomes all earthly laws. That does not condone lawlessness, but it does mean that we are going ot do the good and right things because we have love for one another. Its part of being in the physical world and not being in the physical world at the same time. A Mystery beyond human comprehension  at this time in human history.The turth is in Christ and maybe some day He will explain it all to us.  We will just understand all things.!?
The following phrases had special meaning for me for the day.
Verse 1."...for I speak to those who know the law.."
verse 4. "...dead to the law through the body of Christ.."
verse 6."...serve in the newness of the Spirit.."
verse 7."..Is the law sin? Certainly not1...the law said you shall not covet ( greed that results in abuse of power or authority)
verse 8." But sin taking opportunity by the commandment, produced in me all manner of evil desire...(knowing what is evil opens up  the temptations of it?)..."
verse 10. " Therefore the law is holy and the commandment is holy and  just good."
verse 14."..the law is spiritual .."
verse  15....For what I am doing I do not understand.."
verse 20." Now if I do  what I will not do, it is no longer  I who do it but sin that dwells in me."
verse 22. "For I delight in the law of God ( Yahuah, Yahusha, Ruah) whom Christians call Christ Jesus)
verse 23."..another law in my members warring against the law of my mind.."
verse 25."...with the mind I myself serve the law of God, but t with the flesh   the law of sin."
