                                     PROPHETIC SCRIPTURES
     Today the Bible opened to Ezekiel Chapter 9. As  Christian I find this one of those passages  difficult to swallow of  just intended death and destruction. but it does say, the restraint was taken away and blame is  put on the actions of the unfaithful for bringing it on themselves. as A Christian under the new covenant through Christ all things an be reborn and restored through our faith. Those who do evil often are consumed by the very evil they follow.
  Non Christians are welcome to ponder the general wisdom of the words.
The following phrases had special meaning for the day.
verse 2 "...six men. from direction of the upper gate... with battle ax in ..hand.. One man clothed in linen...and writer's in horn.."
verse 3."..Glory of the God of Israel had gone up..where it had been  to the thresh hold of the Temple...."
Verse 4 ".Go through the midst of the city ...Jerusalem   and put a mark on the foreheads of the men and cry over all the abominations that are done within it."
verse 6. "...do not come near anyone on whom is the mark..."
verse 8. "..Ah Lord ( Yahuah, Yahusha, Ruah whom Christians call Christ  Jesus) will you destroy all the remnant of Israel in pouring out your fury on Jerusalem??"
verse 9.'..I will remember their deeds on their own head
verse 11. ".. man clothed in linen who had the ink horn at his side,,, I have done as you commended me.."
 Question? the man in linen obeys but has no weapon of death? but the words to be written?
