Christ is the human face of the Trinity and not fully human is my belief. I can not explain it. Its why its called 'faith' unlike being an eye witness to something one has experienced with their 5 senses. All peoples are trying to find answers and reading the Biblical scriptures and bringing to it their backgrounds from different perspectives and faith religions.
Do be respectful to those who sincerely are trying to find answers for themselves.
My dad always said READ THE RED LETTERS. and he was not referring to the Book Of Mao at all.
That is get a Bible that has the quotes from Yahusha , whom we Christians call Christ Jesus in 'red letters; as its easy to zero in on them. That is the first source we have. next is the eye witness accounts in scripture often described in the words of the time.
Whatever, do not lose ones faith as someone comes up with a new twist or thinking on matters. It does not change who Christ is and HIS promise to return as conqueror over evil itself for all. time.
Honor the mothers and fathers of the past, as there is over 2000 years of scholarship, prayer and study on these matters, even before HE came the first time.
St Paul said ( to paraphrase) to be gentle with those who come from other faiths or mindsets. Those of the more eastern mystic religions have a more gentle nature to them.. His words, were give them milk not meat to begin as one would a innocent babe. There is common wisdom in many faiths as if somehow we are born with some innate knowledge of our creator. and in most eastern faiths its rare one see their faith turn to real violence, etc.as in the middle eastern and western ones. But not always. so one has to journey through it all to know the best way to help explain ones point of view and belief in matters.
And most are serious about the ways of the spiritual. Be a guide and try to reach them from their stand point. Many who speak to those of the more mystical faiths and thoughts, have found the a Gospel of John a good source.
Some scholars and historians say he traveled and evangelized in India and even into China. and may be the founder of a blended religion of the Buddhist faith of the first century called the Mahayana ( I may not have that's spelled quite right.) It is different than Zen in some ways. and this is often what occurs. Some get parts of the teachings of a faith and then blend it with what they already know and we get s type of hybrid that only time and study will bring one to a more full understanding of things.
Too often hampered by some who try to control all into denying them FREEDOM OF THOUGHT AND SAY ALL HAVE TO BELIEVE THE SAME. And we do not. Christ is the way to the eternal. But exactly how and when , has a variety of opinion. All religions have some good teachings if they are based on caring and respecting each other. Its this common ground that keeps the peaceful co existence we have , most of the time, just not now.
And I am in favor of all helping each other help themselves. We would not have laws and programs to help others in need in this world if we did not all agree on some of these basics. But we do NOT HAVE TO CHANGE OUR FREEDOM OF PERSONAL BELIEF to cooperate and help others. at all.
Its a dull world of 'THOUGHT ZOMBIES' to have a one world religion and one doctrine one has to follow. And it goes against our human nature of being created with FREE WILL TO BE LIKE THAT and in time there will be a revolt against it.
The Bible says that in the 'later day Christ will pour out HIS SPIRIT on all flesh." and many are going to be receiving this gift and not fully understanding what has happened. Meet their questions with respect and love is all I can offer as each one has to do what they think is best in their own way.
Love one another' is the first Commandment of Christ and when ones does things for that reason, how can one go very wrong in what they do.?
NO ONE WORLD RELIGION AS I DO NOT WANT A WORLD OF DULLED 'THOUGHT ZOMBIES'.
