Peggy Noonan took them out of a story about me in Reader's Digest of the early 1950's and put them in a speech of Bush-41. And inserted the words /new world order; in the same sentences. A perversion of the meaning and all that I stand for. as any one who reads my blog knows. The story was my part as a 3 year old in 1948 of getting Brethren Volunteer Service passed as counting for ones military service through Congress. And is referring to the 'light of Christ' shining through those who are 'indwelled' with the Holy Spirit letting 'their light shine' by words said "helping others help themselves"
The perversion is to use these words in a manner that is the opposite of the full meaning as understood by Christians. which the new world order is not understood to be of Christ at all. Linda Joy Adams 4/23/16
