Google Now Has Access To Millions of Patients’ Medical Records - The CON Trail see my comment to the article , The USA is not the only one with no government in charge of any taxpayer funded health care or plan anymore. Its not a matter of lots of rules and regulations, But there has to be the basics of every ones rights upheld and monies not being scammed out of the public treasury not any one else. Google may have good intentions and the good is if accuracy and semblance of privacy and access to ones own files is done as worldwide medical research can be enhanced for the public good of all. But it takes a government of the people to have some kind of oversight of the total so no one entity takes unfair or illegal use of the data.
Its usually not the gathering of the data, but the lack of government oversight that can cause bad outcomes.
I am for FAIR AND FREE TRADE. Not ruthless entities grabbing unfair advantage by illegal acts. And that takes a government to see that no one has an unfair advantage by illegal acts.
Illegal acts with no one to stop them is where the USA has been since 2002 in health care government contractors which in turn makes it harder to catch the few 'bad apple' scam medical professionals before the theft amounts are millions which , to my years of experience, means something s badly wrong inside the contractors who illegally paid all the claims and can never be brought to justice or stopped for the next 'bad apple' to come along. OR MAYBE COLLUSION OCCURRED THAT CANNOT BE DETECTED IF NO ONE IS ALLOWED TO INVESTIGATE. AND ARREST ANY ONE.
When its health care involved we are dealing with real life and death matters and lives can be lost and have been lost from NO GOVERNMENT IN CHARGE TO OVERSEE IN ANY WAY TO STOP LIVE THREATENING SITUATIONS AS WELL AS FINANCIAL LOSS OF OUR TAX DOLLARS.
