                                                 PROPHETIC SCRIPTURES
Today the Bible opened to  Chronicles Chapter 26 and the following verses had special meaning to me.
Pretty clear, when one is asked to take a leadership role, especially by the people; one has  responsibility to not let the power 'go to their head.' and forget they are accountable to a Divine entity who is all powerful and if one goes against the teachings of love and dignity for each; one has sown the seeds of their own destruction. DON'T FORGET WHERE YOU CAME FROM  OR GAVE YOU THE POSITION! The People and the Creator, Himself.
And Do not interfere with the freedom to practices and traditions of  ones faith they profess   when it  edifies the Glory of The Almighty. Ancient Israel (Judah)  had a separation of powers and traditions of how to practice their religion.  as they believed  God had instructed them to do.The King or secular leader was not to interfere with that but to worship along with the others. This King began to consider himself as 'God" who could make the rules of worship and cast aside what had been tradition and practice for hundreds of years. In the USA, we have freedom of religion. One doesn't interfere with another's practice of faith as long  as it does not do harm to the people in general. One is free to go create their own religion or religious sect if they disagree with practices and tenants of one sect.  We must respect the right to worship as we please; we are not to interfere with it. providing a few secular laws are complied with that apply to all of us all the time that are in place against murder, theft, and other such laws. The Constitution of the USA was written by those who understood their Bible foundations very well. and had studied the grave mistakes that humans had made throughout history.
Non Christians are welcome to ponder the wisdom of the words.

Verse 1."...all the people...made him King..."
verse 4."...  He did right  in the sight of the Lord ( Yahuah, Yahusha, Ruah)"
Verse  10. "...built towers in the desert...he loved the soil  "
verse  16." But when he was strong his heart was lifted up, to his destruction, for he transgressed against the Lord his God..."
verse 19. "..leprosy.."
Verse 20."  Lord had struck him..."
