The original push to stop voter fraud in modern times came out of the dead who voted for President Kennedy in 1960 and many are convinced its how he won.
In 1964, a real effort was done to go through voter rolls looking for dead people. Or others who were on the voter roles who should not be.
I was part of the effort at the time. And only one anomaly showed up . One nice elderly lady who had not moved had had her precinct changed. But had continued to vote at her old one. No one told her and they had continued letting her have a ballot each time.. Probably did not change anything except in who voted for who in her precinct.
All the time and effort since seems to have only turned up a few instances and then it was something so blatant as in Chicago in 1960. And once in Philadelphia, many absentee votes were filed in people's names who were not the ones who voted in one election.
So when it occurs, its big and seems to be found out at some point in time.
It does not seem to be the average person trying to vote somewhere when they are not allowed to vote for some reason or at the wrong place.
The best deterrent to voter fraud seems to be EVERYONE VOTING and then if someone votes in your place they will be caught when your vote comes in .
KENTUCKY BAD NEWS
News just reported that only about 20% of the people were voting and that means we, the people have been let down big time. Even though the candidates for president have pretty well been made known by the votes so far, and all the other in-party maneuverings, there are still other people on that ballot that can be crucial to each and every one. Granted there is an incumbent Senator, Rand Paul. but there are judges on the ballot.
AND ANYONE THAT ENDS UP IN CIVIL OR CRIMINAL COURT YOU MAY WISH YOU HAD VOTED IF YOU END UP WITH SOMEONE ON THE BENCH WHO IS NOT FAIR OR MAKES RULINGS ABOUT THE LAWS THAT AFFECT EVERYONE.
Every office is important.
The link to the headline is what can happen when we, the people under the US CONSTITUTION where we hold the real power to rule. The Bible says we are to be subservient to authority. WE ARE THE AUTHORITY AND WE ARE NOT BEING OBEDIENT TO THAT IF WE DO NOT DO THE FIRST AND MOST IMPORTANT ACT OF OBEDIENCE. VOTE!
Even who is elected 'dog catcher' is important if your own dog digs under the fence and gets out.... how we your own pet be treated?
When we are not ruling as we are to do in the USA, then we have fiascoes like in this headline. WHERE DEAD PEOPLE SELL PROPERTY AS WELL AS VOTING.
The man's heirs will now need to decide what to do, etc.... we do have laws for good reason
Most laws come from three basic ones of the 10 commandments where the one who is the leader is not to act as if they are a god, not supposed to abuse power, and WE THE PEOPLE ARE NOT TO WORSHIP OUR LEADERS AS IF THEY ARE GODS FOR THEY ARE HUMAN AND CAN MAKE MISTAKES AND DO BAD THINGS AND THAT IS WHY WE HAVE TO BE PART OF THE PROCESS TO MAKE SURE WHEN A LEADER DOES TURN TO THE BAD WE REPLACE THEM WITH SOMEONE WHO WILL NOT GO DOWN THE WRONG PATH. Or we convince them to turn around and choose a better way of life and liberty and love. and uphold the laws that basically come from three commandments.
THREE BASIC LAWS
DO NOT STEAL, DO NOT KILL, DO NOT LIE.
IN MATTERS OF GOVERNING. All laws needed come from these basic categories. And we would need no more laws than these if all obeyed them, would we. So the answer to those who want less government in our business, HOW WELL ARE THOSE THREE BASIC COMMANDMENTS BEING FOLLOWED BY THOSE IN THE GOVERNMENT, CONTRACTORS OF THE GOVERNMENT AND THE PEOPLE.? Its up to our participation and actions, how much 'governing' is needed.. ITS OUR FREE WILL TO BE GOOD OR BAD TO EACH OTHER.
