PROPHETIC SCRIPTURES
Today the Bible opened to Joshua Chapter 20. No Christians are welcome to ponder the general wisdom of the words. Of course this is from the JJewish Torah and without them there would be no Christians..
the thought that came to mind is we have a deity who has 'forgiveness for our sins.' especially those done unintentionally. Its the heart thing. But if we do not reveal what is truly in our hearts then we not only lie to ourselves but we are legally lying and will be found aocoutnability for the sins committed either in this world or the next when HE is the final judge of the matter.
The followng phrases seemed to have special meaning for the day.
Verse 1. " The Lord ( Yahuah, Yahusha, Ruah) also spoke to Joshua ..."
Vere 2."..speak to the children of Isreal.. Appoint cities of refuge..spoke to...through Moses"
verse 3. "..kills accidentally or unintentionally...may flee there...
verse 4."..declares in a hearing before the elders.."
verse 6. " until the death of one who is high priest in those days.." ( is this a possible precursor of the end times when the earthly govt headed by the Devil incarnate wishes vengeance no matter what and we , bolivares will be given refuges until the evil one is finally taken out of the picture by the merciful and loving Deity of salivation?)...return to..own home..."
verse 7."..appointed..Kadesh.., Shechem.., Kirjath Arba. which is Hebron.,"
versee 8. "..Bezer.... Ramoth.., Golan..," ( where are the cities for the other 6?)
verse 9. ".. cities appointed for all the children of Israel and the stranger who dwelt among them.." ( even the non citizens has equal rights before the law.)
