For decades, a Bible is opened at random and chapter read....and as usual what is shared in scripture has impact in our personal as well as reflects matters going on in this world..
By the time Christ came and walked among us nearly 2000 years ago. the original laws of the heart and soul had been turned into hard hearted rigid rules where no mercy and justice seemed to exist as those seem to have been lost. But chaos existed over the innate desire in every one of us to want freedom and exercise our innate free will to make choices...and pray we are guided into better ones... and rebellions existed vs those in authority...and the way of negotiation and helping made positive changes...seemed to be lost...and as those of sincere faith..saw the perversions of those who were from ruling group in Rome....it fueled their self righteous attitudes of keeping a sense of caring, justice and mercy even among themselves...over what they could be in charge of...their faith institutions...Under the law of Moses...NO HOMELESS EXISTS....NO HUNGER EXISTS... and those in need of medical care were taken care of best as society knew how back then.... instead of being a light to Rome and the world,,,they had fallen into their own self preservation in a corrupted era.. when Rome had some semblance of rights and justice over many of the time and prior empires...and never forget the REAL LESSON OF HISTORY OF BAD CHOICES MADE...by all JEWS AND ROMANS etc. back in 33 AD when Christ was crucified for being innocent of any crime and we Christians do believe He Rose from the dead and ascended into Heaven along with the cloud of others also risen 40 days later....and on Pentecost sent us His Holy Spirit to guide us until His return sometime ahead of us and may it be soon...but we do not know when...
BUT 2 YEARS LATER, CESAR IN ROME SENT FOR CHRIST TO COME AND HEAL HIS WITHERED ARM... one of the better ones....historians say was a more fair and just ruler....and we would not be here 2000 years later...facing death and destruction of all ...if differing choices had been made...2000 years ago....and the people let the most innocent...we Christians believe was part Divine and we ask How much was meant to be? or how much is actually of our own doing in this world when we make choices that could change history forever?? for good or bad...
VOTE AND BE PART OF THE SOLUTION
But back in first century Judea, the law of Moses.(imperfect by humans….with the foundational 10 rules.to follow and not always done...but time and history should be learning better ways...not forget to be better as we journey along the path of humanity to life eternal for al of us..to choose to have....and by Christ's time the law of Moses had been turned into a rigidity that never was intended that would no longer allow for flexibility mercy and justice applied would mean to have to be... and why there had been courts to even decide if some matters should be changed in the rules of the society...and these seemed to become 'secret courts' of whom to get rid of rather than better ways to co exist with the current occupiers of the land....Even Moses admitted he did not always make the best choices...and did not go on into the promised land with the others...scriptures tell us... a human leader who accepted a call of leadership at age 80 and accepted it and surely did his best for the people and nation and trying to follow the I AM WHO I AM....he met in the burning bush...and whatever more happened on the mountain...etc..
A real wrong turn from ..where the basic foundation of fairness, and justice and that no ruler should commit abuse of power (covet-check the original Hebrew) and know what the whole world knew back in ancient times of how different this one group roaming in the desert for 40 years was and for 500 years lived in tribes with a govt of a kind of federation of patriarchs from each tribes head... where no leader is considered a god that can never do wrong and the people do not have to live under one who abuses their power over them....
Have we come full circle back to having a rigid view of these basic 10 foundational principles? As translations get meanings sometimes lost in part from what was understood only a few thousand years ago....And was understood by the founders of the USA...as if one was educated back in the 1700's they could read the Bible in original languages...which was not Latin...
There are dictionaries and helps to locate a word in scripture and find the original language and definitions and we try to be have translations that read poetically like a story that can be shared.as such...and sometimes translations just do not translate that smoothly....
For the first time in my 74 years, this time through the Bible....have chosen to read the 1800's King James Version...which has been only used as a comparison of translations to find consensus meaning...for a passage or verse....
And phrases that have special and well understood meaning now....may change into something far different in just a few years....Look at the changes in our language since the Internet and texting
How does this relate to the Paul the rigid self righteous prosecutor of the Jews who deviated from the rigidity of the Mosaic law...as carried out in first century Judea? A lot....and he was present and over saw the stoning of Stephen and had already raided home of early Christians and throwing them in prison as HE THOUGHT HE WAS IN THE RIGHT AND THEY WERE HERETICS...and WRONG... when it was he that had fallen into a misconception of the meaning of the underlying principles of the law of the heart...that no human law is ever to be rigidly unchangeable...
This does not mean we are to be lawless and have no rules a society needs to have to maintain some semblance of order...and safety.....Think of the harm done is we had no traffic lights...or worse had them and everyone ignored them? We obey laws. because we know the real harm that can happen when some or all of us ignore them....But we are to be the rulers and we are to be open and flexible to change and adaptation when we evolve into a more understood of better ways to live and rights of each of us to be equal before our laws...and nations...
Our founders of the USA had a good understanding of this need...and gave us a living document that could and did change over time....as found our way to the real TRUTH of who we were meant to be...each a special life and soul...and all to be treated with respect , dignity and equality...even with some among us needing extra protection when a majority decides to go one way....and not to forget the one or few among us that could be harmed by what the majority decide..
Health care can be fairly and justly available to everyone in need....and many ways to get the sick to the medical care and somehow it be paid for as like everything else...doctors and hospitals, etc. have bills and salaries to pay.....and a fair and just amount like all are for their work...etc.
And as times and technology changes...our laws need to change also....And a few years ago...Congress was not willing to deal with drone deliveries...and some traffic rules for the skies...and be the time we have crashes up above of all our drone deliveries to our homes and many lawsuits of who pays for what damages...etc...maybe a few rules ahead of time all can agree on that make practical sense...and avoid a long overdue neglected problems in real crisis....like health care, immigration..etc….as the cabal stealing would be ended and we have more money than the national debt to help everyone of us...rich and poor...have much of our basics be free to one and all...And that is not sending everyone a check every month...or 'THEY' would just raise the prices..by the amount each got to spend each month.... FREEDOM IS COMPLICATED.. and it takes everyone to give input and insight and 'ONE SIZE DOES NOT FIT ALL' and that takes local input to solve issues.....and we elect those from local to federal to sort through all the opinions and facts and experts info to decide the better way for this or that....and promote free and fair trade....as TRADE CANNOT BE FREE IF ITS NOT FAIR...and that takes some govt oversight and a few basic rules of fairness along with justice for all affected...too....for FREEDOM TO BE....and all exercise free will....as long as basic rules from the heart...as well as human govt...are followed....and not be so rigid that just following the rules....makes one self righteousness know it all's who can turn into real monsters....as if things are not working well....then there are flaws in the whole that we all need to make sure...those given the authority to serve us sort it out and make changes...that work better for one and all of us...
And will homes and buildings be constructed in the future to include a drone landing site...or drop site....and our UPS and Fed Ex drivers need to be retrained to be drone operators?
As in Paul's day, he could not understand what Christianity...was all about...as he was not around to meet Christ...as historians tell us...And he was willing to do terrible things and did them....and NO HUMAN COULD REACH HIM....not even those filled with the Holy Spirit...were unable to reach his bound up self righteous soul....until the first one, Stephen was executed....and Saul who became Paul oversaw the execution…and saw the witness of Stephen....but still was willing to carry letters of indictment on to Damascus and rid the heretics converting to Christianity among those faithful Jews there....when those in the synagogues accepting the teachings and divinity of Christ....were following the original teachings and promise Christ would come...as shared with Enoch...clear back to Adam and Eve on this earth.... and signs in the Picture Bible in the heavens....had been forgotten as it got mixed up with the Mystery Babylon changes of meanings, terms and horrible perversions of human sacrifice of the Fertility Goddess religion.....that far back....but the People of Israel and Judea....had kept truth alive...but had forgotten the heart and soul of the faith....and become rigid...and unwavering in interpretations they now held....and had forgotten the original truths they once knew...Being a conquered and occupied nation for 500 years...did not help with the struggle to keep their own faith that was not that of the occupiers....and far different than those who worshipped their emperor as a god....that to the Jews...lived a decadent and sinful life.....and a really perverted one even according the liberal ways of modern day society....of the 21t century....really bad and the threat to losing the faith vs falling into that kind of horror..seemed to make Saul even more sure HE WAS RIGHT....and HE WAS WRONG... TRUTH HAD ESCAPED HIM OF LOVE AND MERCY FOR ONE ANOTHER....WAS MISSING IN HIS CONCEPT OF THE RIGHT WAY TO LIVE AND BE...
And we humans, find some just this hard hearted in our daily lives and society....and sometimes even holding high level seats of power...and too often we elected them...OR SOME OF US BOTHERED TO EVEN VOTE.....and why 95%+ need to be voting in all elections as we are the rulers of this nation...and in most of the world....and if we do not vote in those kind of numbers of all who legally could be voting...then we fail ourselves..as those elected know that a real mandate or majority of all of us sent them to serve us....and they can fall into a snare of serving some other master and its may not be a good one...at all..
Over my 74 years, I have met only a few that seemed 'cold hearted' and no semblance of reaching them even with a smile or caring or appeal to their own sense of survival in this mess...we have created for ourselves by neglecting to be the rulers....and its not what a few voting can do....as forgive me I have made a few mistakes over my lifetime of voting...as many may have also....and one who seemed to be a good choice. falls into snares...or was fooling us all along...and some in office for decades have lost their sense of service and have become the SAUL'S and know how to seem to care and don't when it comes time for action... and it for some they may need some DIVINE INTERVENTION ON THE ROAD TO DAMASCUS...which is in the news now and we are gathering from around the world along that road...that goes from Jerusalem to DAMASCUS and who will get saved for eternity along the way....and change to loving, caring fair and just persons...after they are blinded by the light of truth....and find a better way of living and calling to do what is right and good for one and all....
In the name of Yahusha, whom we Christians call Christ Jesus...may we never lose our souls and hearts to binding and hardness for the love and goodness we were meant to have and share with one another....And may our leaders find just and fair outcomes...as we support those who try their best to serve us well....and those committing chaos and thinking slander and gossip is truth and cannot find their way to truth.....have their DAMASCUS ROAD moments.. of meeting of Divine Love...and change and do what is right and good....or You may have to deal with them for eternity on the final day of judgment....as sadly beyond reach of us humans to effect change...even when we really do try....and others need us as well as our own survival...and we try....but how much more trying can be done...by many trying....The ones lost we try and fail in our human ways to share and they change for the better....But why we need our legal systems to make sure those committing harms...to people and property and rights...are kept from continuing as we raised some among us to not respect and care for rights of others or their own self worth... May all of us find our ways to being a better person as we praise Your Holy Name..Amen!
There are some who access this blog who are not Christians...and that is respected as faith is personal and cannot be forced....Just hope all are on a path for good...and keep away from the ones of death and destruction....and these choices can exist even inside one over all faith label....and somehow within each one....each has to find their way...to the better side....and at the end of our earthly journey...who will we meet...and accept His Divine Love for each one of us....and may all pass on through to life eternal in some mysterious way...we do not fully understand....this side of heaven...
