1 Corinthians 1 KJV - Paul called to be an apostle of Jesus - Bible Gateway

Any who lived a full like as a Christians going to church...have ended up in discussions about what Paul meant about women in church....And some have applied it literally for all women for all time....and no women in leadership of being pastors etc....And others take it situationally for what was a unique group in Corinth....and this diversity over 1/2 of the believers has spilled over into the world and how the world looks at Christianity... when the focus should be Christ and what He taught instead...
And the whole world has been permeated with the message of FREEDOM AND FREE WILL and self governing of the people in their govts. etc...A message of the heart...
The whole world has followed into the teachings of Christ and accepted His way, even if they do not call themselves Christian or consider Him the face of the Divine from the I AM WHO I AM....
And the name of the Divine Love...is also chanted by many diverse faith and groups within them...and understanding of why and how and what is believed...is not put in same words as Christians use from Bible language....But its getting close to the mystery of Christ..which even believers cannot fully comprehend...as some mysteries of the Bible seem to be outside of time, space and even cyber space....We do not fully comprehend, as the Bible tells us that Adam and Eve had all knowledge and fell into defiance by temptation of Satan and the full ability to know was a veil put on us to not know as to know all would do harm...to all and creation ...We were not ready to fully know and resist temptation to do evil..
Seems to be a plan for us to have FREE WILL and resist those choices that cause us and others and creation harm...WE are in a learning process.. and the closer we get to the final battle to overcome evil with good....Evil is rearing its head along with his cohorts. The 1/3rd of the angels who fell into evil with him....
So in Corinth, historians share that this was a very diverse group of believers and we had what we would ladies of the night sorts as well as high and low class and all the many sins each were being delivered from in Christ....In our salvation in Christ...we still bring our cultures and ways and sayings... And for a woman to have a head uncovered in Corinth meant things that would not elsewhere...etc. Modesty on steroids for women has come out of admonitions from Paul that many have used to subjugate women's place in the kingdom of heaven....while others consider it and study the history we have and accept it as a specific situation that most other places do not have issues like it...
Christ said all are equal in the Kingdom of heaven...and we are taught to pray for this to be heaven on earth....and in the early churches...women had more leadership and duties than most of the known world's cultures allowed...Yet they were still in the world seeking to teach others to believe in Christ and accept His teaching and follow them....A unique Public relations situation even if motivation is eternal lives and salvation of all to have it in Christ...
And Christianity has gotten a bad name among others in this world when it went in and forced a culture on a people first before they could become Christians....And something that Paul never wrote had to be....And his letter to Galatians...clearly meant to allow culture and ways to worship if the Spirit of Christ is there. if it is, then the ways one does thing to honor and worship is not going to become ways that go against the goodness of Christ and our sincere desire to worship and honor Him...
Growing up, I often was told by my dad and others of the CHINESE DISASTER that the Christians of this world made when China was first entered to be evangelized..
The rise of COMMUNISM fall of the Romanov dynasty and Russian Orthodox church in Russia a hundred years ago...suppressed the teachings of the Eastern orthodox faith...that few over the last hundred years know much of their teachings...
Rather, even though many belong to a variety of denominations of what is called Protestant faiths and independent groups....we are still influenced by the still largest denomination in the world the Roman Catholic church...and a split in Christianity occurred not long after Constantine. Forced all into a one set of beliefs and squelched the FREEDOM of interpretations that was more diverse than what we seem to have today....As long as Christ was the center and faith and belief in Him was the spirit of Divine Love shared from us to others as we accept the Divine Love from the free gift of the Holy Spirit...
And we have a huge institution in Rome that is both religion and secular...its a nation now...also...
And if that is your faith group and its what one believes and has the spirit of Christ...who am I to disagree with your FREE WILL CHOICE...just as I have my free will to not fully follow all the rituals and doctrines, and worship models..
CHINA DISASTER
A nation and peoples who had been under one govt for thousands of years and here comes some mostly western people and was dividing the land and telling each part how to do things if they wished to have eternal life...and that Christ loved them all...CULTURE CLASH...
And the bigger more wealthy sects seemed to get the nicer areas and some lesser sects ended up in with the mountain or hill people....And this went on with one group being taught this was the correct way to do things and others another way.....and zooming right through were other sects that said THEY WERE THE TRUE CHURCH AND ALL THE OTHERS WERE WRONG AND WORSE....AND TO DO AS THEY TAUGHT INSTEAD....
Its a miracle of the TRUTH OF CHRIST that any believers were left to one day become a movement among the people, from them and the fastest growing part of the church done in secret since Mao came along and clamped down and kicked all of the Christian sects our of China....
But one or a few...who did not seem to be causing so much trouble....
The sect I grew up in Church of the Brethren was one that ended up with the hill people and Mao said leave them alone as they take care of each other....
When the poorer or obscure people in a nation seem to be 'taking care of each other and not being a trouble maker for rulers..' then they do get left alone ..to take care of each others..
And at one point, the village in the mountains was honored by Mao on a postage stamp....And one church was left in (Beijing) to show the world he was not kicking the church out of china and the pastor was from our denomination for years...but was called some kind of independent group and little freedom of teachings of course... Often dissed by Christians around the world as a 'show church' but many from Christians who went to communist China would often visit there...
But the spirit of Christ remained as those who taught culture and more rigid means of worship as the 'right way' were gone....and the church went underground in China and flourished one by one in one place and another....
FREEDOM AND FREE WILL of a MOVEMENT unrestricted by time and place and 'traditions.' And this is not to dis traditions and ways to worship but WHEN IT BECOMES THE THEME AND DIVIDING UP A NATION THAT HAD NO BORDERS FOR EONS...
WHO GOT THE CHRISTIAN CHURCHES INTO SUCH A MESS.....and we did the same in Africa...and even among the natives of the USA...forcing a cultural change instead of a heart change....
Its only been in the last 50 years that Christianity has learned the lessons of the early evangelists and from Paul...to respect others cultures and ways..but for those things that could not be accepted such as human sacrifice, drunkenness, etc.. practices that none would accept n the modern world as acceptable behaviors and often illegal too.
And the Roman Church went into southeast Asia....and became the Christian church of those areas...and some clashes occurred with those in the areas who did not accept it and some had rejected any faith but more communistic of the state is the only god...and FREEDOM AND FREE WILL no place in it...
How much of the conflicts in South east Asia could link back to how CHRISTIANITY AS AN ORGANIZED INSTITUTION...HANDLED ITSELF IN ITS FIRST VENTURE IN.....and the biggest and most powerful...one became the only choice? When Christ began a movement of FREEDOM AND FREE WILL IN THIS WORLD..of the heart...and we will never always agree on matters...
But often will go along if none among us is harmed by the majority....
Those who exert awesome power in this world in matters of faith...never be so arrogant that one thinks that every bit has to be done just so for salvation to enter into eternal life is accepted in the eyes of the Divine trinity...of FATHER SON AND HOLY SPIRIT..OF ONE ENTITY...
Maybe when that is done by any part of the whole, it maybe each one hiding behind religion rather than sharing the message of how Christ affected ones life and salvation...instead...
None of us KNOWS IT ALL...and why we are taught to keep our souls on Christ and His love for us and accept it and praise Him and pass on that love to one another in this world... Not the easiest way to be...but one that is far less chance of being a disaster and maybe a root cause of strife that leads to wars and more wars....and we still have problems in an areas we had open for Christ to be shared....and could not put our competitive differences aside and focus on the gist of the teachings of Christ and the free gift of the Holy Spirit that was being brought in to one and all.....and once the 'established ' church got out of the way.....we have no idea how many believers even exist in China.
BUT CENSORSHIP FROM CHINA SEEMS TO HAVE BEEN ENDED ONLINE AS GOT NEARLY AS MANY HITS TODAY FROM CHINA AS FROM USA....and China has been 'missing'
I do not pay to know all details from all sites....BUT CHINA IS OPEN!

In the name of Yahusha, whom we Christians call Christ Jesus may Your love and word be shared to all the world now and may we not get our human bias interjected into sharing the Divine Love Your freely offer to one and all... May the freedom of sharing with new found friends from other parts of the world and now China...be a blessing to them and us....And pray for our leaders to have a govt of, by and for the people put back to stop harms done.....as too much has been allowed and we may be in a bigger movement for all people of this world to find our way to FREEDOM AND FREE WILL and find answers in You for our good for one and all... And may safe meds be made for millions of us again....and Christ be in the labs in china where made and may they make the ones for millions of us with none made now..AND MAY THINGS WORK OUT TO GETS TESTS RUN AND ALLOW TO BE MADE FOR ALL OF US....and may this WORKERS COMP CONTRACTORS STOP WITHHOLDING ACTIONS AND DEFYING 39 JUDGES NI MULTIPLE AGENCIES ON MY CASES ALONE....that has been a big impact on none of us millions being counted as even existing....Amen!
