Then on my Dad's side is Pres Obama. Neither VP Dck Cheney nor Pres Obama have shared their full ancestroal identities with the public who voted for them. And it would ot have been negative as I can determine it.
Been watching a documentary on Satellite TV about VP Dick Cheney and no mention of his being second cousins of HUNT OIL Company founders. One can also Google "Linda Joy Adams' and "VP Dick Chemey" and read the Daily Recap written over a year ago of the connection.
I don't know why he has said his mother's maiden name was Dickey when that was her first husband's name.She had been divorced in an era when it wa still scandulous to be a divorced woman in most places in sooiety. Her second marraige was to Cheney and had two sons. I have often wondered if when asked for info for the birth certificate the questions wasn't "what was your former name" insead of her maiden name so it the record went down wrong. and does say Dickey on his birth records and I don't think he had known his Grandfather much to know much of the family history?. Great Unncle Charley y died never knowing ? his other second family chlideen had grown up t with one being the well known founder of JB HUNT trucking compnay.JB HUNT , was his uncle and his motherr had left Great Uncle Charley when they were very toddlers and he had no idea where they were as of 1953. Thnkgs do happen in families, but too often children then never get to know their extended families. When they are in reall need, they have no idea there are some willing to help if at all possible. An aunt of VP Cheny was Ross Peorit;s mother. I don't know if they knew much of eiach other either as she had moved to Texarkana and married and had children later in life. .The Summer of 1953, was a real family istry lesson for me as Mom And I visited relatives in many areas. We lived in Topeka, Knsas and I never got to know either of parents' extended families very well..
As I've wrttean here, its not been unueual for me to pick up a ballot for the top two offices in this naiton and find myself having to vote from among relative;s on either my mother or father's extended family sides. Ome say there is 'gene' but I think its becasue we spend time in our families thinking from the 'top down.' and in my peroanl famiy it was always how to help and serve the people to make things better for all. ( Not that I agree with all that has been done by those who get the power.)Family table discussions were often politics, but in a constructive maner as we might complains,but then go ahead and try to figure out what our leaders shold lbe doing instead. or what else they might do. It was never, just to complians and not offer suggestionss. Very often that was follwed through with a letter, or phone call to thise in power. .
Some may have set at the tale andnot been so altruistic. My parents who raised me were not perfect, and sometimes I felt they did not understand me at all growiing up as many teenagers do; but I was never rasied to be mean spirited nor do harm to society or persons in it. I
thank them for that.I pray for CEO Lynn Blodgett at ACS-Xerox and am saddened for what he is peronally doing to me, but if one were also consumed with personal hatred towards him it would not be good for any nor for me. BUT, I am sad, I can;t 'like' him for his perosnal life threatening actions agianst me. I pary he or others around him will do what is right and good for his soul as all of us will be judged in a final judgement f or the condition of our 'spiritual' hearts. and our intent for our actions. To say there is 'nothing to do' with judges remand orders in hand and 14 yars of oxygen coaimms hidden by not inputting becase they woudlbe paid and 'all his andhis companies sins exposed" and folliwng intentional 'Let her die' order againstt me does not seem to be one with 'good intent.' Repentamce is needed and do what is right, please!.
For me to be in the family I was placed in, makes me an eye witness to truth and its not always popular to be that when politics means one 'contrives a persona and being related to certain parties is not always the most electable/perosna.' And individuals or those around them do ot want truth to be known.And big money is behind nt wanting the truth to be known many times Yet it is the truth 'that sets one free/ Its time to put igh leadrship back into service to all and all of us need to vote and not keep be trying to find a 'savior' as in our system of govrenment we all holdlpersonal responsiblity for ruling this nation.I think this is what I learned growing up. Figure out a better way to solve the problems and then share that with those in charge for them to have the info to make better decisions. with the 'full truth' on their side. Politics should not be about making personal wealth, but doing the best they can ofr all of us and we have to be diligent to give constructive criticism when needed and help when needed in whatever way we can.

I was not raised Catholic and most of the Hunts wern't but some did return to 'the church' after Great Grandmother had left it back in mid 1800's nd ran off with a group of traveilng musicians and dancers who were introducing Square Dncing to Europe and Great Grandmoterh ran off raanthr thatn marry Franz Joseph Hapsburg of Auntria and 'run the newly contrived "Holy Roman Empire' which her uncle in the Vatican was helping formulate to revive it.
While omst fmialies are planning for ther new born to be a ball player or ballerina, etc. I have known of a fiamily which plans high leadership from the cradle or before the birth ever occurred. Not that all do it. I was pretty much left to make my own choices. But there was some dismay when I switched to Sociology l from Music in collaege and they didn't understand that altough I love children, it was not my choice to be a teacher. in a school system. Its much diffrent than directing children in a play or teachng Sunday School
I had had other intersets and I was still in a generation where thee r were few choices for women who got an educaiton. My generation who entered collegei n the early 60's found ourselves on the forefront of begiinning to have more choices, especially in California whee we lived for awhile. Women switching from the Fine Arts aand eduaction to Sociology seemed to be a 'movement' some even commented on in the colleges. Women were decdidng that a degree would be used to get a real job and not the MRS. degree girls often were sent to college to get.. And those in music would be using a degree, not as a a hobby where a few might 'make it big' some day b or ut just have skills to have a place in society and teach their chldren.. We were on the verge of the computer era, and it was soon learned that apititudes for music and computer skills seem to 'overlap' in some ways. Ak the experts, as they were the ones who said they had figured it out and why.
I finished my last year, at Knsas State Uiversity in Socioogy after entreing there with a music scholarship. I had our second child while a senior and there were two womeni n my class who had transferred f rom California colleges where we bwing pregnant was common place but in Kansas was not yet. What do they think preognant women have done for all of human history? Most women have always worked in the home and the work wasusualy not easy without the modern appliances like washing machines and indoor running water.
I had our first child in Californina and was sent home from the hospital the second day after birth while in Kansas they still expected one to be in the hpospital for 5 days. We did not have health ins which covered maternity at Knsas State and no way was I staying to run up a bill and said " I'm going home' an the scramble was on to finish up some tests like a chest x[-ay before I left. Another one out that that showed I was fine before injury on 1/10/89.
Within 5 days I was back in cliass although Doyle did dirive me up to the building and did not walk across campus. The two Califorina transfers were'shacking up the old social norms'. Also both of us had been laid off at 8 months o fpregnancy of our jobs in California and both of us had drawn eunemplyement as our doctors said we could work yet and the civil rights laws had yet to be passed. We both had oined the long line of pregnant women at the unemplyement ofcie. It was war time and few didn't have one that wanted one.
Discirmination still occurs, but in no way does one want to return to some of the things hthat went on in this naiton. Not all of the old ways were better when women lost ther jobs because they were pregnant.
i remmber the line f prignant women I had joined at the Califorina Unemplyement office. Women today, thinkl ittle of getitng preganat and expecting to have 6 wesek off maybe even with full pay. Now we even hae the family leave act where one could be off work 6 months and sitll have a job at the end of that.
Unless sSc of HHS Donna Shalala was your boss and your were an injured federal employee and what occurred in 9/94 was being put in intensive care twice at her hands and my doctor telling me I would die if I went back in and she as the top person ended up with EEOC sanctions aginst her for what she did to me and ignoring a multiitide of doctors wrtitng reprots to tell her and her underlings... after promising removal of chemical barriers and a non-exterional job when Federal workers comp sent me back to work in 7/90 and then tried to ;hide I did and the docmentation is extensive as all one can do is documet as no laws seem to proptect lives as a Fed when they are badly needed even now. A lot of work is needed to preserve our basic rights to even life. We have gained one step forward, but in some ways we have backtracked over the last few decades in this nation.
Being caught in the cross fire of both sides of anextended family with a lot of historical power, has often left me with no help rather r than even the amount of help the 'average person' might be able to have when it is needed. Its being 'on ones own' in the most basic sense and what Doyle and I have is what we have earned with our two hands and minimal of inheritance shared with other siblings. I don't even have what has been awarded by law for work done and rights as an injured workers that have been awarded and yet the govt contracor CEO Lynn Blo9igett will not even input oxygen cclams to hide what he is doing to me from officials at US Dept of Labor or other agencies who might want to act as the law says they are to do in an ethical and lawful. way to help
Over 14 years to hide the most basic medical treatment to live. Today, Doyle and I spent several hours working on preparing claims to be submitted and its very discourging to kow CEO Lynn Bloidgett wil break all laws and ethics and contracts and they will never be porcessed as the order 'let her die' is sitll be carried. out.Nor have all th eother years of the And other bills will not be paid but the response will be on an offline system referrs to the missing million eith he or those in his compnay are 'persons of interest'in in the disappearance of it on me and many others accoriding to OIG at OPM which has not been permitted to investigate by any Director of OPM over the last several since Kay Coleman James whom wintesses said ordered "Let her die" about me. ACS employees saw it on the computer screens when they took over and began to say we all had the money to pay our own bills. and none of us have ever gotten it and don't think any law would be written that way at all. Life is a right, we are still struggling to achieve for too many of us.
