Daily recap 11/9/12: Deadly Gossip: President Obama Born in Topeka Ks: nice day, dry yet, rain is promised, but colder weather coming. Son carried some heavier items out for storage.  No money, no calls and the impasse continues on my case and in WWashington DC. Head of CIA resigns due to affair and I blogged on The New York Daily Post: WASHINGTON EVACUATED: ALL ADULTERERS LEAVE? Gossip is a career ender as people won't look beyond  ones moral sins to see if they are still doing their jobs for the country.
PRESIDENT OBAMA BORN IN TOPEKA KS; I've been sharing modern day interpretation of the Ten commandments as a a document for human governance that is not just a religious document. 1: - Accountability 2: Addiction denies Freedom 3: Slander and Gossip. And today's news shows how our own sin of gossip allows gossip or the threat of gossip to wreck careers. Some say there is much  more to this. Bit why would ones personal moral failing's be an issue/ Most of us wish only perfect humans  be our leaders, but the only perfect one I've ever heard of lived almost 2000 years ago and many believe he was  Divine and not subject to the temptations the rest of us can be entrapped by. Can fall to the addiction of of those things that bind our soul's freedom to show our love for one another and compassion.
The third commandment says traditionally that One shouldd not take the name of God in vain. we are taught as little children, if raised in homes where these things are taken seriously, that one should not use the words D*** and other words that are considered 'bad.' Its wrong to say them to others and about others but even worse to say it about the Divine or God or YAHUAH , or whatever name one calls the one that they consider themselves accountability through out eternity. The words that still are not considered acceptable for TV or radio announcers to use.
There bad names to call people, racist slurs and slurs against other groups of people. But certain swear words are condemning one for eternity. It is taking up on the caller of the swear word the ultimate authority to make that decision and defies that the user of the word is himself accountable to the Creator or to History and humanity themselves.
We are told in the first few verses of the Torah, The Bible that a human was created in the image of the Divine. When one condemns another, one is defying that relationship with the one who holds ones eternity by the ultimate judgement of our actions. And for our place in history and humanity.
Slander and gossip is a further manifestation of this.
This last election was filled with so much slander and gossip on both sides, that it became difficult to sort out where the TRUTH  was.  The slander against the President;s Mother, was too much for me to stay silent any longer. After a year of trying to get those with the money to go get the birth records and other documents out of Topeka KS of President Obama, I began publishing my eye witness account here on 7/26/12 linked toBlogger, face book and twitter accunts. Staying silent is also a binding of ones soul's freedom, too. Ones silence is acceptance.  Each Daily recap since has more details of events referred to here.
No one in the media an maybe not the president\himself knew or did know who his real Dad was due to a gossip frenzy that turned deadly. All because a white teenager  and a black teenager decided to be a couple. Both were known for abilities as students and he for his family connections which made him even more vulnerable for gossip and retaliation. Wars start over such gossip and retaliatory frenzies. In this case three ended up dead and no justice to date for this. My personal opinion is shame that eachs gossip led to the frenzy that turned into some violent action by a few. It fueled the fires of hatred. And silence, not justice!
What does one do when confronted by it? I tried to stop it but did not say the right thing. By the time I was confronted with it at the music festival, it was already completely out of control. And the teachers didn't seem to know how to handle it or stop it or stay out of it themselves. DISCRIMINATION!. The deaths caused a compete stoppage of the gossip until the bodies washed up later on a sand bar. The the State o  Ks gossiped, but in 'secret' and the whole matter was hushed up and selective amnesia occured for 50 years.
Most people have a conscinece and  shame for actions. And murders were walking free and they were to be feared as the authorities didn't seem to want to do any thing about it. If something more ever occurred to bring some justice to the deceased and the attack on   President's Mother which could have cost his life as an unborn child, too. I never heard about it. There was no Court TV coverage of a trial, no reporters nothing but SHUT UP THE WITNESS. This is the other kind of silence that is a taking of the name in vain. We choose to forget  he innocent and the guilolty go free with no accountability for actions.Silence binds the soul,too. Freedom is stiffled. Maybe too many of these injustices and our silence has led up to our impasses.
Our govt is filled with people in authourity like this now. People are harmed, they die as the result of horrendous, illegal actions and are never investigated nor held acocuntable and those that know are 'bound.'
But if one has a peresonal moral failing, we point fiingers, gossip into a frenzy and never investigate to find the truth if the personal failing has any bearing on the ability to do the job honestly and in a constitutional manner. It can be the excuse that is accepted when its held up as a cover up to hide something else that may well have occurred and there will be no investigation and no one will be held accountability for any crime. Public gossip over a non crime is accepted as justice.Iif everyone with a personal moral failing they may have ever committed didn't go to work next week, the whole nation would be on vacation- at home as everone  would stop. We  condemn ourselves when we gossip and slander any one of us. TRUTH is the antidote. Justice is the action that starts with exposing the TRUTH. Evil doesn't like the sunlight of  TRUTH as evil will meet the ultimate justice and be stopped by our knowing and no longer following it into a gossip frenzy;evil has created. Who cares if a couple of teenagers happen to be of diffrent races? Its not  the  personal business of any one but their immedate families and loved ones .and the couple themselves. But we are called to help if needed. I was only 15, and didn't bother to stay behind and ask if there was anything I could do to help! I'm ' one of the good people that did nothing.' yet I was directly involved as family and didn't realize it at the time as Ann 's father had stolen the ID of Stanley Dunham as a teenager himself and even she did not know his real family name was Pope and not Dunham. The issue was not resolved in the 1940's and when Daniel Wayne Pope's daughter was in trouble she didn't know how to find any of her Dad's relativies to even ask for help until the Ks authorities contacted the real Stanley Dunham who directed them to my cousin Dan's family and they contacted my parents Rev. Tracy and Florence Hardy back in Topeka.I had known  Ann casually thorough activities in the city, no idea she was 'family.'TOMORROW: TAKE A BREAK: Linda Joy Adams 11/9/12
