 Very warm day and may break heat records for this time of year. getting into all the ink and paper in the last few days, has inflammation flared up in sinuses.  So rested most of day. Lungs hurt some , too. Even my first pulmonogist stated that the upper respiratory badly damaged. But I am alive and thankful for that. Read through the Federal Blues booklet for next year and the chart as to who pays first when OWCP is involved has an asterisk next to it. Its very misleading. It states after one is on disability from OWCP for 6 months then Medicare is primary if not OWCP. There are two kinds of disalbility payments rom OWCP, Temporary and permanent. Temporary could be over 6 months , yet be received by someone going back to work or it could be someone that the contractor keeps blocking processing of the permanent disability and thus active duty status is maintained. The chart has an asterick at that point for good reason: its not completely true. yet the officials at OPM don't seem to know this at all and have little knowledge about OWCP. This is very 'strange' since  there are a good number of federal workers who do file for owcp and many return to work and some do not; some have died, too. Yet they have no basic info about the categories.? Why? No reference materials to access? NO access to any one that knows at OPM?
Apparently not training employees means that confusion continues and all of us are just "left to die?'
Its been over a couple of weeks and the Ombudsman office has not gotten back to me, again as this is par for the course as they have promised to do so for several years. They did have some bad weather? The woman I spoke to said her   office was set up in 2009, but there were officials promising to ; 'get bac'k; for a long time and no one does. Why?
The OK attorney  i was referred to to try and handle some local matters and seemed very interested and knowledgeable, now has a terminal illness. I pray for him and his family and Friends. So a referral is being made back for another referral. I had spent time faxing a some records and  detailed e-mail
My attorney In NJ can't do anything, just like all the citizens in this country can't either. The case is won, and we are dealing with high level corrutpion that is entrenched and has taken over the govt and those of other nations for over a decade or so since the plan to 'take over' was instituted in 1983. in Dallas and step by step plan put in action with laws passed allowing high level corrupted officials to participate in a real coup d'etat of our sovereignty and dismantling of the laws and constitution.
Information is being shared at all levels of govt. A question came up from one party: if one applies for a duplicate drivers license, is there an alert that goes through out govt that triggers a red flag of a possible identity theft? Even though ones state uses either iris scan and fingerprints.? The govt contractors get paid lots of money to monitor the govt records of that person such as IRS, and other official records 'just in case' identity theft occurred when it never did occur?
This is part of the 'stealing' of Amerca. Creating scenarios where ones records have to be maintained by a govt contractor and maybe for thousands of dollars when nothing untoward has happened at all?
Like every time one walks into a county welfare office and not expecting to receivei any payments, a $0 balance ATM cared is issued by Affiliated computer services and they get paid monthly to maintain it for two years 'just in case' one might be eligible for some kind of payment from ones county or state. I discovered this in 2009 and not one person seemed at all concerned that that money might be going to feed a hungry person or pay for someones rent or medical care or any of the other things we expect our public monies to be used for.  ( My reeust to know from the state as to the amount spent on this has yet to be answered.)States have really been scammed by these same govt contractors and act 'ignorant' of it all.  Itss nationwide scamjming of states as well as federal agencies.
This happened  when All I needed was a denial  letter that I could not get state medicaid or the buy down for special help to pay for Part B mediciare premiums.. One is given an all purpose application as one files for anything and everything and here came the cards. I still have not received  that ATM card from ACS for medical care from OWCP with a million dollar limit. Guess they all got cashed in to pay bribes by Jack Abramoff;s bunch and no one cares as those who were to do something about it got their 'bribe? or are too scared for their life to say anything? If that's the case; that's the real terrorism. For a federal official to be so 'terrified' they can't stand up to the evil going on around them and stop it.!
PRESIDENT OBAMA BORN IN TOPEKA KS
President Obama came home from the hospital as a new born to the small apt ( room) where Ann, his mother worked and lived. I recall it being on Kansas Ave near the Kansas River. At one time it was called the Kaw River. Before 1965, there was an old bridge that had been there for decades. After Brown vs the Board of Education and the struggle for integration began in earnest in this country, there were some that decided to have 'Urban renewals.' Often these were accompanied by plans for the new Interstate systems to come through older neighborhoods in the cities. These often divided up neighborhoods that had had a common culture for decades. Interstate 70 later   came through downtown Topeka  near where the catholic text book store and warehouse would have been. I did some online research, but not many pictures of the area were located.  So can't determine if the building has survived. The 1951 flood came up to 5Th street and it would have been closer to the river as it had obviously suffered flooding.
Anyone that attended catholic school in Topeka Ks would have shopped for their textbooks there up until the mid 1960's.  Although the Catholic schools used the same textbooks for the most part, as the Public shcools; they sometimes were edited differently.And were marekd for catholic used, vs public school use. The customer area was not large with the one cash register and counter.I don't recall if there was a second floor or not. But obviously there was either a back storage area or another floor for receipt of the books. Ann was responsible for getting them out and getting the prices on them and stocking the shelves.
When Mom and I went to vist her after she had come home from the hospital, she had already begun stocking the shelves, etc for the customers that were expected to be arriving shortly. in 8/61. The building was weathered and showed the flood stains from the 1951 flood. She had a room and bath and the room had a twin cot and dresser , a table and chair , maybe two and small apt size gas stove and  sink. The president's first bed at home was a dresser drawer from the dresser with a pillow for a mattress.. When I saw him the drawer was on the floor behind the counter and he was smiling and kicking his tiny legs., like any new born might be doing that was loved and well cared for and happy..
He was very clean and obviously Ann was taking good care of him and seemed fully intent on keeping her job and caring for her baby. Obama Sr was not present and there seemed to be no intent to live together at all. Although, as I have written before, Mom seemed to have 'trained' her to say he would be home for supper if any one asked. I could clearly see in to the apt area and there was only one bed, so 'Sorry Mom, 'you missed something even I , a 16 year old had figured out. But no one was asking me and there has always been a clear intent that I should not be involved in this matter at all. Yet, I was because I was a member of the family. Outsiders, didin;t know I was not and didn't know every detail including who murdered the president's real daddy. And they have gone free for 50 years, as far as I know and causing harm for self and family all along.  This kind of evil doesn't ' think' the same as most poeple.
I was fully aware that this was not going to be possible when customers starting coming in and a  black baby and while mother in the store. Not in this city! At that time!. People who are gossiping and speculating presently, have 'amnesia' about what times were like only 50 years ago. And some have not changed in their criticism. I knew the city too well as had come up against this evil more than once myself. In the South,  at the time, no one pretended they were discriminatory; but in aKnsas, it was all invisible.. but very real!.
I , wasn't even dating yet' but someone  my age had a family and adult responsibilities.  Since humans lived on the face of this earth, one doesn't always plan for when one has their families. Yet, most accept the responsibility and do the best they can in the matter. I give Ann credit for doing this. Why are some people so filled with gossip and hatred to not  allow someone to take care of their family and themselves?
Have no doubt something occurred that sent her out to Mercer Island, Wa to finish high school.
