Daily Recap 11/12/12: Thanks! Parents!: President Obama Born In Topeka Ks

Daily Recap 11/12/12: Thanks! Parents!: President Obama Born In Topeka Ks:
Note: Have been sharing a more secularized version of the Ten Commandments which, to me Is a religious document and aids in explaining ones way to salvation for eternal life. Ancient societies were religous and it was mandatory to participate. Most followed paths of death and destructona and human scrifice was often regarded as something to do as part of worship as their 'god' expected it.
The Ten Commandments one finds in the Torah, which is the the first five books of the Christian Bible teaches a very diffrent concept for governing. It was a concept of a very free society with only a few don't' to follow.
Most of then relate to our relationship to the Divine and our accountability to our Creator who holds the ultimate judgement for us.This relationship has bearing on what happens to us after we lve this physcial realm and indicates that what we do here has bearing on that. Then there are the commandments that teach us how to relate to one another.  When we don't follow these few rules, then society can fall into a chaotic and unjust and unmerciful place to live. There are also those commandments that teach us how not to get into that place by our personal motivations. And it starts and ends with our concept of accountability and motivations that cause us to ignore it.
My personal situation is one of no one seeming to think that laws need to be obeyed, even when it has caused many to have  been hurt, died and stole from. If that is not a complete breakdown of society , what is? and its geting worse  and our elected officials who are to oversee these things do not occur seem to care less and have even passed laws to encourage the  law breaking.
One used to be able to appeal to one personal conscience, but there seems to be a growing number in this society that really do think they have no personal self value, that their value is determined by how much they have , can get by with,  and seem to have no concept of compassion or  love, and salvation of ones eternal soul seems irrelelvant. A growing concept is that if onefgets old or sick and cannot 'work' then one is of no value to society and should be eliminated.  All have been reduced to 'slaves'.
How can the impasse with regard to getting medical care and the bills paid and judges orders followed , etc take place when there are some giving orders that consider an old, disabled woman frrm Southern OK as not worthy to have what the law and judges and legal decisions have said should occur?
PRESIDENT OBAMA BORN IN TOPEKA KS: When society falls into the pit of darkness and turns from those few rules that lift up the dignity and respect for all as worthy of "life, liberty and pursuit of happiness" as stated in our Declaration of Independence, we follow a path of death, slavery and misery. Our Independence comes from following the path and few rules that govern a truly free socieity where life and liberty creates true happiness..
Why didin't the President grow up knowing his real dad? Because society had not yet fully learned that two parents could be of different races. That both were created  to have equal value. Those who decided to gossip and the few that lost their humanity and fell into hatred and destruction that ended in deaths wil have a final judgement day by the Divine and History will not forget. As even if no trial ever occurred, its in the conscience of everyone who knew, knows or knows someone in those categories as it affects ones life. Denying justice to three, sets a trend to denying justice to all unless we make a conscious effort to change it back to a path of justice, life and fairness for all. Even those  that knew decided to have a  selective 'amnesia ' about the matter Sometimes its just too hard to not to, and ones does not have the courage to stand up for justice and then we all lose from that lack of leadership one may find themselves placed in. It still remains as  a part of the 'binding' of their individual souls that justice becoming part of History has not taken place.
As far as I know, not even a cornoners inquest or real investigation of the matter. I have been writing my eye witness account of the circumstances surrouding the birth of our president in Topeka Ks here; started 7/26/12 and in Daily Recaps. Hatred destroys us and ignoring it does also. We are all called to show a path of another way. If 'good people do nothing' it only gets worse until the whole society is emtrapped in a path of desturction. Many say we are pretty close to it right now.
#5 Honor they father and mother. First we are accountabilty to our Creator and to History itself. Our addiction to those things that separate us should not be done. Respect for each other is is a reflection of our respect for our Creator and our relationship to our Creator's Humanity. And we need to take  breaks so we can get back on the track of life and love and not the one of death and desstruction.
I make no presumptions of being any kind of great Biblical scholar. But as one of faith, these ten simple rules do create a foundation of how one should live their lives. And they pertain to those who profess to not even have a faith, but are accountable to history and humanity as a part of society. Humans are social beings, and t part of being one is  to be a part of the whole and a particpant in it.
If one is blessed to have been raised by wonderful and loving parents, then one should be very thnakful for that. Parents are humans that can make all the mistakes any human can make and often do. Most never reach the level of destructive behavior and relationships are left intact.
When posted the part of about long life is often not included in the 5Th commandment..
The New Testamnet of Christians has Christ asking a question to theose listening: Who are my brothers and sisters, our family? ( to paraphrase) In our soceity, often those who assume some of those duties of parenting may not be the ones who gave us physical life. They are often our teachers, our mentors and all the others in our lives that help direct us to grow up to be the best of what each of us is to be. When one is lacking a parent, or have parents that make worng decisions, a child should not follow. Many may become our  'part time'  parents; in one way or another. We have a lot of people to honor and thank for helping us reach adulthood and beyond.  Helping one another becomes a job for all of us in one way or another.
In earlier days, one lived on the family farm, and as people grew older they sassumed less of the physcial work, and often died in their own beds on the very land on which they were born with younger generations present and helping the elderly just as they had helped in raising the ones now caring for them.
We live in a mobile socieity and caring for our elderly and disabled has become a societal responsiblity of pooling our monies and sending each a check and providing for services that family often did before.  Many are fortanate to still have family to help.Or 'substitutes' that assume those caring duties, who must be thanked.
We are reaching a point, when we are starting to lose our thankfulness for what the prior generations have done for us. We have begun to lose our respect for the wisdom that living many years is really worth. That does have value  that can't always be figured in dollars and cents. Its a priceless commodity.
Some societies actually have a religon that include ancestral worship. When we study our history, we need to be thankful for what has been accouplished in the past, but learn from the mistakes of our ancestors and never make the same ones again. Too often one group or another is blamed for the failings of the whole. And we start to 'dishonor' the blamed group when we are actually  refusing to accept personal responsibility to  stand up to injustice and cruelty until no one does and  it has consumed the whole society.
Ones personal history is very important. I have been part of an extended family on both sides where many have not known their full history. Its not the color of ones hair, skin or eyes or height or bone structure that is often so crucial to a full understanding. Its those idioms, those sayings, those attitudes that seem to be taught without direct teaching that get carried down the line from generation to genreation. If they are not good, then it can take generations to over come them if one doesn't face them and honor ones ancestors for the good things but not repeat the mistakes. The Bible calls its the ' sins of the father visited upon the younger and for sometimes 4 or 10 generations. Hatred can be one of those ills that are can follow. If one understands the beginnings of it, then one can break free from it. The why? gets forgotten but the destructive action can continue.
We have come to a point in socieity when we have deeper insights  through faith and science to know how to break free from destructive behaviors  and be fully free as an individual person from those things that bind our souls.  We can help others to also do so.
When we dishonor our elders, we set in motion those behaviors that our future generations will be learning and can start down  a path of destruction for many generations to have to over come. Its part of our accuontability to the Divine as well as to history itself. We should not be silent in the face of injustice. Not every one will be in a position of high leadership in society, but each of is is a 'parent' to the younger generations, if only for a moment or two in their lives. But it can be a crucial moment and we need to be honored for it and in turn to honor those who were there for each of us.
Making sure each is able to enjoy a long life is part of that honor. Food, shelter, medical care, are all part of that honor as well as maintaing a good relationship.  Honor is also earned  as in all relationships.  It takes both sides. Whether that is within ones personal family or in governing the nation.
We are all one big family, and those of us that study our faith books  are taught that we are all related at some point in the distant past. Even scientists are admitting we came from the same parents in an  ancient time.
My fervent prayer is that our elected leaders and others who are in a position of authority in our government will follow some of these basic concepts and be just and fair as they carry out their duties. Americans live in a society where we can change bad laws and create better ones that follow these basic concepts.  And laws and judges terms of contracts with govt agncies need to stop being violated. Gossip and rumor are not seeking TRUTH.  TOMORROW: RIGHT TO LIFE: Linda Joy Adams 11/12/12
