Its Summer weather in the 80's and sun in shining. Took some Fall pictures of plants and Our older cat came  and posed for one. Actually wanted petted, but did get him to look toward the camera.
Doyle spent time doing some photocopying for filings. If only all the govt agencies and contractors would just follow the law and judges orders , then this would not be needed.Most o f the cover letters are posted on line.
Had to call Caremark to verify the correct address to send in the compounding solution from pharmacist. She didn't understand why the pharmacist can't do the billing. I had originally mailed these to Federal Blues addresses as I thought biologicals went there, but the lady explained to me that a compound is not the same. A compound is where two ingredients already made are put together. In my case, the saline water and the cortisone steroid.Next year they are stopping making Maxair which leaves no medication for small air way disease and asked if its possible to put that medications into the solution. She indicated it might be possible. She was not aware of putting the drops in the distilled water in the humidifier cup attached to my liquid oxygen and the oxygen becomes the propellant giving a minute amount in a steady amount. She said a steroid inhaleri s almost $170 compared to the $25 for my solution.
I came up with this as a matter of necessity after the squirts in nostril did not get to lungs and was gettting an overdose when blood tests came back and one can;' say it was anything but a cortisone steroid overdose. Even I can read the professional papers published on this. My doctors have gone along with it, once we got the dosage correct.
When ones employer group health plans and Medicare want to deny ones has workers compensation, then they don't know what to do when something is so obviously related to it.  Why? Why would the liability insurers and govt agencies make a decision to make Medicare the primary payer for liability injures. Those kinds of injuries where someone other than the regular health plans are liable like workers comp?
its those illegal, secret proprietary agreements between all the various companies that have control of the health care plans and processing of claims even for the govt plans. Then if one needs to have a treatment that is far different or the opposite of the regular kind, one is in medical danger if its done.
There are four basic  kinds of asthma, only one is exacerbated by chemicals and usually one is in  litigation of some sort if they have that as it usually follows some kind of injury from a toxic or chemical exposure.
The FDA, for years, has denied the existence of patients with this kind of medical condition, yet things happen in a world filled with these compounds. And the more greed and avarice takes over, the more risks are taken and people get seriously injured.So often, a complete cover up is done, rather than getting the best medical care as soon as possible for the injured. A prime example was the BP spill in the Gulf a couple of years ago. First workers were sent to use dangerous chemicals without protective gear, a clear violation of laws, but no one enforces laws against entities that seem too big for even govts to control. so people get injured and die before their time and no one is criminally prosecuted for it.
Accidents do happen, but when they are intentional and laws are violated that cause them, then where are the criminal penalties, the jail time for those committing the acts that cause the injuries and death?
What did the main Media cover about the BP oil spill? They sent in lots of counselors and mental health professionals to hold their hands ss they suffered without medical care for their physical injuries.
Granted, traumatic times and events do cause stress and some need the professional help. But foremost is getting the medical care for their physical injuries. And the first thing that is going to occur is finding out that the tried and true medications that have now been shown to be effective along with home oxygen for over a decades now, has been pulled by their own govt at FDA who lies and says there are substitutes when there are not.
I was there, and eye witness in the early 90's when OWCP under orders from OPM was only allowing one body part to be injured. That means only one body part gets treated. one can die of kidney and heart failure but the lungs get treated. Greed and corruption do exist and real 'death panels' in the federal system that everyone comes under in 2014 if criminal penalties are not put in place.
I was lied to about the heart being damaged until it got so bad they could no longer lie and call angina, lung spasms, when the pain was obviously coming from the heart and tests showed the abnormalities. I was accepted into a clinical trial for an asthma drug and ended up in the hospital and pharmaceutical company had to pay for the care.
I then got chastised for' lying' that I didinot have a heart conditions. I said: " what heart conditions?" Thats what blew the whistle on this? I never got the $500  promised for trying the new drug, either.FDA allows exclusion of those with heart problems, which all in our class of patients do have to some extent. . So we are excluded and FDA 'blindly' thinks all kinds of medications are available when they decided to pull the CFC's out of our meds to save the environment, leaving us with nothing as they have allowed themselves to be 'ignorant.' Left with Mmedications that treat the opposite way and cause physical harm.
If you have this kind of lung injury, then you will have heart problems and kidney problemes, etc. Especially if you are not put on home oxygen and left on it and that means compressed air or liquid oxygen and not the canister that produces the inflamiing ozone along with the oxygen. Its common sense, weakened lungs mean that the other organs have to over work. If the relief is not provided with the medical care, its gong to get worse much faster. One can slow down the progression, but its a progressive disease. I'm not a doctor, but a paitent for almost 25 years of some of the leading doctors in the field of pulmonary medicine and other related fields. Many have been published in peer journals and have headed up major research. I am quoting them.
The lying has to stop to patients. Provide the care and vocational specialists needs to be trained as to what kind of work people like us can do for as long as possible.  Being non exertional is part of it also.
We are  in a world of chemicals and toxins , yet the systems are not in place to take care of the injured if something gets in the wrong mix, for whatever reason, and people are injured. We may be injured, but we no longer die in 5 years and haven't for a couple of ddecades, now; if medical care is provided. Why is the clock being turned back on the people to a time when death is more imminent for so many? That's the 'death panels' that do exist. It's not a 'rationing board.' which is one too. Its this corruption and cover up that creates them. Providing the best care quickly is the best way so that patients can get as well as possblee and many able to do some kind of work and contribute to society. Why is evil allowed to exist? Is it because the people have not realized that, together, it can be stopped?

I've been sharing details and circumstances of the president's birth in Topeka KS. The viciousness that is coming into this election cycle is horrible and seems to have little to do with politics and policies. When it is that, that should be debated and investigated at length by the media and the people.
In our system of govt, it should not be so  much concern who is president or elected to Congress, IF, all those elected are there to SERVE. There seems to be so much money and greed and competition for govt hand outs that its down right cut throat.
The MIDDLE CLASS is just about tapped out from supporting the WEALTHY  as well as the poor. And it seems the Wealthy actually end up with more of the middle classes tax dollars than the few pennies given to the poor among us.This has gotten increasingly worse over the last few decades.
Congresses in the past had held hearing and came up with some very good programs to help people help themselves. Work fare got replaced by Welfare reform Why? Governmentt contracting. Work fare had been applauded as one of the more sucesssful programs when it was implemented. If one was able bodied they worked off  their welfare payments and other benefits by doing some of the work of govt. Anything from filing papers, to answering phones to sweeping floors and mowing the grass. Whatever was needed in the local area by some level of govt.One also maintained a resume while trying to find better work, and the more susccessful programs Incorporated training and other support to help. Its what the Bible calls ''going the extra mile." If one is in need, the full support to get independent is helping in whatever way is needed to get the workers into a position where one is truly self sufficient. This does not work when all those jobs have been contracted out to an unaccountable govt contractor, usually for a lot of money and then those workers may not be paid very well in the end.
With govt ocntracting taking over, we ended up with a hideous program called welfare reform that often puts inner city parents on long bus rides into the suburbs minimum wage jobs and no money for day care and children too often are left to take care for themselves, or with substandard care. Not every one has a loving grandmother type to love and cherish and work almost for free.Its an entrapment one can barely break out of. That's not the extra mile.
The president's Great Great Uncle Tracy Hardy was an expert at fixing and building fences. Its those boundaries that protect ones livestock from the neighbor's stock. It also protected the home from the animals getting into the people's areas.. Every neighbor was expected to help maintain it even if one neighbor may be sharing a fence that another had built. One could 'ride the fence.' This is not sitting on it, which would not be very pleasant as usually in cattle country one is speaking of barbed wire. Cattle and Horses are large animals and if they want to go through a fence they can do it,, but they are going to get cut up by the barbed wire and it hurts. If there is panic and stampede, then animals can be badly injured if something like that occurs. In the modern era, this is rare. One can get on a horse and ride down the fence line and if one sees a staple has come out, they can get off  and put in a new one. Dad usually looked on the ground for the old one and pick it up.
Modenr fences are sometimes metal poles in the grornd, but most of the pasture land still used the wooden posts. A hole was dug with a post holle digger and human strength and wire had to be made taut, etc. if it was made securely, it will last for years. Dad was good at it and had years of proactice at it. He had applied for a patent back in the 40's for a tool to help take out and put in staples. He had only made a prototype \out of wood. He was not successful in applying.  In more recent years, I saw a metal one that wasn't exatcly like it, but similar being sold with  farm supplies.
Of course with the modern metal poles and slots for the wire, such a tool would not be a big seller. But, Dad considered those new fences not the best for the long term.
Mending fences is a life long job.There are many ways for humans to do this.The Main media has  allowed itself to fall into pure gossip and so have others. How can one 'mend fences' after an election, when so much is at stake besides someone getting elected to serve and uphold the rule of law and Constitution? As each casts their votes, ask is this person able to mend fences? Will this person serve the people or themselves and their 'puppet masters?' Will this person be able to build the strong fences with a solid foundations to resist any intrusion into those principles of service and resistance toward evils that will tempt one that has gained power?
One of Dad's writings speaks of "the brand of LOVING SERVICE branded on ones heart."
Those will be shared as soon as some of the filing deadlines get met as the fences, my family and I  need to build to hold off those that the  current take over of our govt that started in earnest in 1983, is unable  to corral.
Dad would have loved the Internet. So would have Mom, who wanted to always write a book and never did. Maybe, our generations can pass on the wisdom of our forbears. Its a way of honoring Mothers and Fathers.  TOMORROW: President Obama's first Home .Linda Joy Adams 11/1/12
