Methodist Health System CEO Retires Ahead of Schedule: (Courtesy of: Methodist Health System) Methodist Health System President and CEO Dr. Stephen Mansfield is stepping down next week after a January announcement said he would retire at the end of the year. Mansfield has led the organization since 2006, and he will be replaced by interim CEO James Scoggin Jr., who retired as President of the North Texas Division of HCA in 2013. Pam Stoyanoff, who was Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer at Methodist Health System, will move into the role of President and retain her role as COO. Methodist Health System has quadrupled in size since 2006 and is the largest employer based in southern Dallas, with 10,000 employees across a variety of care delivery sites in the region. The system has grown from two to 10 acute hospitals under Mansfield's leadership, and has developed a partnership with Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota.
