I spoke to the ACLU office in Kansas today and was told I (anyone can ) could file a letter with the judge and got the case number as this suppression of the elderly voting and others who have full rights to do so must end .ITS A FAKE ISSUE MANY ELDERLY HAVE BEEN DRAGGED THROUGH WHEN A FEDERAL AGENCY RULED OFFICIAL ON THEIR AGE AND CITIZENSHIP STATUS WHEN THEY SIGNED UP FOR BENEFITS WITH SOCIAL SECURITY . AND STATES DEFER TO THE FEDS AS WHO SAYS ONE IS A CITIZEN DON'T THEY . Its the US State dept. not your state as running foreign affairs and who is a citizen??

A FEDERAL DECISION IS AVAILABLE FOR MOST WHO NEED IT FROM SOCIAL SECURITY FOR THEIR CITIZENSHIP AND EVEN AGE BEING OVER 18 but the political hay made of this non issue is horrendous and the few who did vote illegally have been dragged through publicity as if this had been a major salacious murder case.
The best way to have fair elections is 95% vote in all elections and know your neighbors which is going to happen more if all participate in the basic duties of citizenship of voting.. and those who have served their time for a crime, its my personal opinion that their rights of voting be restored as we welcome them back into society and prayerfully will not commit another crime.
But the 18 year old who steals a car for a joy ride, is given the same life sentence of denial of rights as a mass murderer and this does not seem just, at all by the laws of mercy and justice for all and hope of redemption of the offender to be changed and redeemed to not do any more harm .
All I can encourage all to do is VOTE as with new groups now voting all over and many of the younger generations.. they need a few of us with gray and white hair who can share our experience and wisdom of age in the mix of who is best to be elected at all levels

In OK as well as other sates its easy to sign up and vote absentee by mail and one does not even have to keep track of when as the ballots get mailed and just got the ones for the local school board bond issue and need to do a little research of what the money is needed for etc.. most often I vote yes for the YOUTH AS OUR FUTURE OF HUMANITY and let them know we do care they have good schools to go to and OK teachers are the bottom of the list or were until the legislature voted recently for a small salary increase in pay. And may medications be made again that are safe for the 20 million non allergic type asthmatics like me. and the chocolate plants be grown that were plowed under to grow the cocaine plants of the horrors of world wide drug addictions and chines trying to get some theophylline out of tea plants for us.. and its not enough and many suffering without medicine as You taught us to heal the sick and feed the hungry or we get Hell and we have done that for too much of all now.
