JUST AS THE POLITICAL ARM OF THE ROMAN CATHOLIC CHURCH TOLD ALL THE EARTH WAS FLAT SO NO ONE WOULD GET IN A BOAT AND COME TO THE NEW WORLD ALL ANCIENT PEOPLES KNEW WAS HERE.. FOR AS SOON AS THEY DID THEY WOULD WISH TO BE SELF GOVERNING AND CREATE NEW WAYS OF WORSHIP. NOT TIED TO ONE BACK IN ROME AND IT WAS NOT LONG BEFORE THEY DID... AND WAS NOT PEACEFUL. MAY WE LEARN NOT TO REPEAT WRONG CHOICES OF THE PAST.
WE CANNOT 'COLONIZE' AS THAT IMPLIES A HEAD GOVT BACK SOMEWHERE TOO FAR AWAY... AS WHEN SOME GO ON THEY WILL BECOME AN INDEPENDENT PLANET STATE. ACCEPT IT AND LEAVE IN PEACE WITH ONE ANOTHER.
