Only 4 states will see cuts to food stamps - Yahoo News Years ago when the illegal activities began in earnest against my Federal files and the black listing against a whole office of federal employees and I got caught in the middle of it with the only one, many have said-even OSHA that got the diagnostic tests run on 1/10/89 as we were black listed from medical care before we even got to the hospitals, and doctors in Jersey City-----I was told be some legal experts that when the Federal government gets so corrupted, the states have the right to fight back with legal actions and policies and other constitutional means.
ITS CALLED THE BALANCE OF POWERS WHICH WERE WRITTEN INTO OUR GOVERNING DOCUMENT .
They were put there to stop the abuses of authority that too often government's of the past an those who ruled them had committed causing much suffering and evil to occur.
Personally, much of the food that is on the shelves of our stores are filled with many things that are not healthy to eat and some ingredients have been banned by other nations as harmful to humans. I approved and still do of First lady Michelle Obama trying to bring attentions to good nutrition. maybe some things could have been approached better, but it has been a crucial issues that needs attention and the government needs to get better over sight control of FDA and the other agencies that are involved in over seeing the mass production of our food supplies in this nation.
One recent study, I linked here to this site recently, says that 50% of the US population is now either pre diabetic or diabetic. As far as I, not a doctor; am concerned pre diabetes just means a mild form of the disease and maybe health care rationing is already going on so that testing suppliers and other treatments have become more difficult to even get or diagnose unless one is in such a severe state of the disease that medicines and insulin are having to be given.
The illogical sense of our health care system is ludicrous in itself. As early diagnosis and diet can help a lot to change things. and other studies are now indicating persons are now suffering from.
Inflammation is caused by those things that irritate like in the air we breathe or in the foods we eat.
The FDA just refuses to recognize chemicals an toxins can be bad for human health as if the undue influence from those industries is running things over there?
Humans have to eat to survive. They also need water that is free of toxins and other 'bad' things and pollutants, too. Again Congress came in and cut the money allotment and took no notice of the details of what was being bought. Is the 'corn syrup' lobby that influential?
I still am amazed at how well the WIC program can do at the grocery store where the more healthy and better quality foods are labeled in the grocery sore aisle. Yahusha, whom we Christians call Christ Jesus taught us to ' GO THE SECOND MILE." If there is such budget concerns, then maybe Congress should have done, what each one of us does when money is scare. we make choices as to what we buy. The prudent person buys the basic and most healthy foods and the candy and sweets are not bought. We do know what our bodies need for survival. Those classes in school on the food groups do get remembered when we have a certain amount of money and must buy what is needed for survival. The few that don't? Society seems to always have those few among us.
There are other studies out there that indicate, some of us have addictions to some foods, like sugar and any one who has tried to cut back on caffeine knows one goes through a withdrawal period like any other kind of addictions even though caffeine is legal where some others have illegal addictions.
Maybe the FDA SHOULD NOT HAVE LET THOSE CHEMICAL FLAVORINGS FROM THE TOBACCO INDUSTRY BE PUT IN MUCH OF OUR PROCESSED FOODS SINCE 1992.
Those chemical flavorings are allowed to be labeled as 'NATURAL" and some of the 10 million who are chemically sensitive like me, have no idea when a label says 'natural' if its those chemicals that inflame and cause swelling of the mucous membranes the body or if its the real thing from a plant?
When all of those tobacco CEO'S swore to Congress several years ago that nicotine was not addictive maybe the wrong question was being asked? Maybe the question should have been are the chemical additives called 'natural flavorings' addictive?
THE STATES FOUGHT BACK IN AN INGENIOUS WAY TO ASSURE THAT MANY PEOPLE COULD BE ABLE TO BUY ENOUGH FOOD FOR SURVIVAL.
We have all kinds of modern technology and software programs that can be created and why if budget cutting needed to be made, could not that include restrictions on certain types of foods? since Affiliated Computer Services et al
With the modern technology, one might be able to get more of the basic food groups of unprocessed foods for survival like those identified for the WIC program and still be able to get some of the other processed foods if they chose to do so.
In economic downturns, there is resentment and grumbling, when most of us are cutting back on the 'goodies and sweets' and get behind someone in the grocery store check out lane with a cart of sodas and other processed foods and then pays with food stamps ( SNAP card issued and maintained by ACS et al?)
I've been there and do not resent that the hungry are getting food, its just that there has to be a better way. A better way that allows for some sweets but is weighted more toward the basic and more healthy types of food.
Its also goes back to the criteria not being updat3ed for 40 years of what are the basic needs for survival and the costs in this country. It gets misnamed the 'PVERTY GUIDELINES' But its simply what does the basics of life cost for one person or two or more.. And its drastically changed over the years. It affects health care in more ways than what we put in to our bodies for sustenance.
WHY THE PUSH FOR MORE NURSING HOMES AND LESS IN HOME NURSING CARE when we are in an era of microwaves and vacuums that clean without humans doing anything more than plugging in the unit. When all kinds of low cost medical equipment is available for home use to monitor ones vitals and even test ones blood, etc./ something that used to require one to be seen by a doctor several times over what is needed now or be in a facility where someone else uses more expensive methods to monitor ones vitals?
"TIMES ARE A' CHANGING" are the words from a song of a few decades ago that had a prophetic meaning for us. Technology can make things much easier for us and allow us to spend our precious collective monies we call taxes to help all of us have a better quality and more healthy life style. Setting up entire industries where monies get locked into methods and things that are soon outdated is costing us those precious dollars we need to use to help each other when its needed for us to maintain our humanity.
SO THE STATES FOUGHT BACK WITH A TWIST OF THE EXISTING LAWS. MAYBE THE LAWS AND CRITERIA THEMSELVES NEED TO BE REVISITED AND UPDATED TO MAKE USE OF THE GADGETS WE HAVE TO DO IT CHEAPER AND BETTER FOR ALL OF US.
Happy Birthday to my nephew, Kerry Fike. I remember the day you were born, when your older sisters were dropped off at our home in Topeka, Ks by your parents as your Mom was on the way to the hospital to have you. It was a bright sunny day. Then later we got the call that ITS A BOY!
