Monsanto Bayer: Two Destructive Corporate Conglomerates Become One The health effect of what these companies have done is widely written up and studied. And its not about an aspirin....which can be good when used properly..
we have already seen the effect on health care as those of us with toxic and chemical injuries do not exist in the current health care laws as run by huge international special interests.. And nations like the USA where the right to sue is well known and often well utilized when major companies do widespread harm and the judgments can be large for the entire group and have major implications for a company to continue to do harm as governments have to pass laws to reflect what has been proven and accepted by juries and judges. and courts.
Both these companies make products and have altered the DNA of plants to the point of harming many humans. IF A PLANT KILLS A BUG, IT WILL OVER TIME HARM THE HUMAN BODY.. I have an issue already with many... and recently wrote here about a study on wheat gluten that the study did not address what kind of wheat variety was even included in the study ... A modern GMO or a heirloom or older hybrid..... genetically can be much different.. I am not a scientist but I did learn about the 'scientific method' early in public school and all variables must be considered and studied to know if the study itself is reaching a valid conclusion of why one suffers from medical conditions related to wheat gluten.... WHAT WHEAT? .that was never addressed in the study .
One of my complaints about just being against all GMO's is that not all hybrid plants are the same.. I have no issue with many of the older varieties that gardeners have planted and eaten for nearly 100 years. Yes one will need to buy new seed every year... but in the modern era , one can do so.. Of course if times change and one needs to grow from their own seed, the non hybrids are needed call Heirlooms. and I use mostly those in our garden..
So when big money can influence studies and laws being passed...... the biggest company is going to be able to exert a negative outcome for health..
All the more reason to pay attention to whom we elect to our governments as they have to watch out for us and pay attention to those from among the people who are suffering and dying from what is being allowed to happen that society must not let happen.
VOTE! and understand that even if we do not all choose the same candidates, the POWER OF THE PEOPLE IS OUR VOTES and our PRESENCE IS THE GREAT POWER OF SELF GOVERNANCE
