This week in the war on voting: Will 87-year-old Louis Brooks get to vote in Georgia this fall?
Louis Brooks needs a ride to the polls. Anyone else out there need a ride? EVERY VOTE COUNTS IF WE ARE GOING TO MAKE THE ONES ELECTED TO PAY ATTENTION TO THEIR BOSSES, US.
Then help out getting others signed up to vote by mail who may have difficulty getting there.
State laws do differ on voting absentee by mail. Most have made it pretty easy.
I already have mine for 11/08. I usually take an hour or two and read up on the issues and candidates if not familiar with the ones running. And those of faith or not, say a prayer or think good thoughts as you make an imperfect human choice as to which imperfect human to vote for in each category .
Make sure you mail it at least 10 days ahead of time as in some areas like mine the ballot may have to go 500 miles to get to the county election office 15 miles away.
