And this is not the only obstruction as there are railroad tracks to cross in Colbert to get to us and its closed also for some reason.
I had a doctor appointment to go to right now and Doyle headed back from Texas to pick me up and is caught in Traffic for no way to get home and we have one car. So he borrowed a phone and called me to let me know.

This is really being cut off from the world. and what is available is a small grocery store, a couple of gas stations and if one crosses the highway there is a General Dollar here. a couple of places to eat and other small businesses and that is it folks.
THE UPS AND FED EX TRUCKS ARE NOT GETTING THROUGH EITHER UNTIL THE ROAD OPENS.
The Internet and phones work but we are trapped in a few miles for a few hours.
Now can we understand why Amazon and others want to make deliveries by drone? They can fly over and no auto or truck insurance to pay either.
The highway that would be an alternative to go around has been closed for over a year after last years flooding. So all over the nation , we are seeing natural disasters that leave hardships behind even after human life is removed.
Our town has its own water well and processing plant so life giving water is still here. And electricity is still on. But we are at the end of OG@E's grid that is still overhead wires coming over Lake Texoma and every time we get a high wind storm that few would even pay much attention to as not damaging to structures or trees, we lose electricity here. for moments or even hours. Si need to get this posted in case it begins and electricity lost as our wifi is coming from a plugged into to electric outlet.
So much work to do to take care of ourselves and our nations commonly held utilities and other things we hold in common. yet we have so many able bodied younger generation without a decent living wage job and too many of them getting into trouble from idleness and despair. unfortunately some , are criminal acts and lives are made worse for them and the victims, on top of that.
The monies needed for all of this have been stolen away by this international cabal that has overtaken the USA and robbing the public treasury in the COUP of 2002 when Congress defunded civil and criminal oversight of government contractors . And then gagged themselves with an unconstitutional rules they can not mention, contact or have one testify in front of Congress and how can one put a law back without discussing it? As this bunch scams and steal and creates more ways to shuffle data around then any paper files ever were in the old fashioned red tape of government of prior eras.
An era when government was trying to be more efficient and not these government contractors by creating more ways to be INEFFICIENT as that is money needed to get more contracts to scam.
Neighbors can help each other for awhile when the world is out there and we are inside a bubble. But only for a period of time..
And this election cycle has made many scared to death of doing things in common, when its always been part of the way of societies to share some things to get some things done we all need and individually cannot afford. What if this tragic accident had occurred and there was no ambulance or air medical flight to come or police to hold back traffic from trying to get around it and cause more tragedies. etc. And no hospitals to take the injured to , or doctors, nurses and other medical professionals at the hospital to take care of them because there was no publicly funded schools from Kindergarten through medical school for them to know how to care for you or I if we need them to get well, or stay well? and then who pays their 'living wages?' we set up more social programs through the government or insurance to do so We live in a highly technical world where most have jobs that require unique skills and education that none I know can know it all?
Even those in the lower wage scales , have unique skills they acquire to do their jobs, now and others would have to learn them to do those jobs.
And the roads need to be there to go down and that is held in common also.
THAT IS NOT COMMUNISM AND ITS NOT THE OLD SOCIALISM OF NAZI GERMANY EITHER. SO STOP LETTING SOME POLITICIANS SCARE EVERY ONE BY MISLEADING US!
Its the people voting for those we elect to set up these institutions so that we share our monies collected through various kinds of taxes, to have these things we can all have to benefit society and us as individuals when we need them to be there.
We hurt only ourselves when we do not vote and make those we elect accountable to us and take care of us and our nation. We are fools to the world when we do not do that and then run off and think we can take care of the whole world and ignore ourselves and neglect our basic needs.
And we have been told to "go about your business and let the government take care of things" as if there are no problems in the world, and ignore suffering and dispare here.
THE BIG LIE AS THE GOVERNMENT WAS AND IS NOT TAKING CARE OF THINGS AS THEY GAVE UP THE AUTHORITY TO DO SO IN THE COUP OF 2002.
ITS TIME FOR OUR LEADERS TO ADMIT THEY GOT OVERTHROWN AND ASK FOR OUR SUPPORT TO ALLOW THEM TO DO THEIR JOBS AGAIN FOR US AND FOR THE NATION.
