Community Wins as Nestle Drops Water Extraction Plans
71 years ago when I was born no one could have imagines a day when water would be sold in a bottle to drink. And each community have to stand up to preserve what is needed for them selves as big companies want it to sell to others.
When we get our monthly bills, we still call water bills, it seems many times higher than mom used to pay each month as she took care of the household bills, and Dad took care of the farming bills and kept detailed ledgers of his expenditures. Most of my life growing up in Topeka, we had two homes, One in Topeka, where I went to school and a working farm at Dover KS with a house and a well and another well for the livestock . Water was free. once you got the well dug and plumbing put in. and then one could periodically take a sample to have it tested by the COUNTY EXTENSION AGENT. But water from deep in the earth, was so pure that one never questioned it was good.
Fracking was something no one even had a clue what that might be as the only issue with anything getting into the deep ground water would be some run off from a livestock barnyard, and even then one would put there well to avoid that. We had to walk a block out into the pasture to hand pump water into big through for them, Plus there was a stream that ran across the land and the water in it was clear but was always told not to drink it as the animals did walk through it an underground water was considered purer as it was naturally filtered by the underground .
All concepts that seem upside down backward to day.
The city water was never that good in Topeka as it had chlorine in it but on occasion I would drink some at school from the water fountains and never thought anything about it as I was thirsty. . We always carried water in from the farm and later one when dad sold the farm and just had pasture land , we had spring water and filled 1 gallon glass jars OF WATER FOR A WEEK AT A TIME FOR US TO DRINK WE HAD OUR OWN BOTTLED WATER.
By the time I was nearly through grade school, DuPont moved to Topeka and the water was never drinkable according to my mother and we rarely drank from the tap. Although it was used for
washing and bathing etc. When one has drank water so pure as we had , it was unthinkable to drink the other kind even though, I never was aware of getting sick when doing so it was just the natural thing to drink the naturally better water.
And our water bills was only about $5 then $10 and that included garbage pick up, etc. It should have been higher as water went back into the Kaw, renamed Kansas River and the next town or city was getting worse and worse water as the river moved on down to the Missouri and then on down to the Mississippi River. BY THE TIME WE , THE PEOPLE WOKE UP TO WHAT WE WERE DONG TO OUR HEALTH AND THE EARTH, WE HAD ALREADY MADE A REAL MESS OF THINGS FOR THE FUTURE. NOW WE ARE BEHIND TRYING TO CLEAN UP WHAT WE DID TO OURSELVES.
As children we are told to pick up our toys and put our dirty clothes and messes in proper places to be cleaned or taken away to keep things clean. The instructions did not carry on out to what we did collectively to our environment. We do not live in isolation on this planet and our messes when sent on down the river, becomes someone else's dirty water to have to try and clean up to drink or other things we spew into the air or allow to drain off our own properties hurts everyone eventually.
Its called personal responsibility to ourselves and every one else in the world that our individual actions can adversely affect or good actions help. THIS IS THE PHILOSOPHY BEHIND THE GEORGIA GUIDESTONES AS TAUGHT TO ME AS A SMALL CHILD AND LATER ON BY MY DAD. If we do not take care of the planet to sustain our lives, WE WILL NOT SURVIVE AS WE ONLY HAVE THIS ONE PLACE TO LIVE ON YET. And we need to learn how to do that before we go on out to space and muck up the rest of the UNIVERSE.
I will not even address global warning, etc. If we and or recent ancestors had been good stewards of the earth and taken care of it, then WE WOULD HAVE ADAPTED TO THE NATURAL EBBS AND FLOWS OF CLIMATE CHANGES AND NONE WOULD BE TRYING TO MAKE SUCH DRASTIC CHANGES YESTERDAY AS IF ONE SPECK OF BAD STUFF INTO THE AIR WOULD END ALL LIFE. This is not worshipping nature, but taking care of the planet we call our collective home. that requires each one to be responsible to do what they can to help out on each ones property and properties we hold in common like. our air and water, that we cannot allow one drop to leave a community to be sent somewhere for others to drink that our efforts have not seen to it that all have decent drinking water in this world from their taps.
And he often said, if we do not act responsibly towards the land and air, etc. , then society will have to intervene to preserve the lives and planet. WE ARE NOT FACING THAT WE HAVE NOT CLEANED UP OUR MESSES, AND NOT BEEN GOOD STEWARDS OF OUR LANDS WE WERE GIVEN DEEDS TO BY THE ALMIGHTY WHOM WE CHRISTIANS CALL CHRIST JESUS IN THE FLESH ,Yahusha. . Few among us have the monies to build water treatment plants, so we have sewers that must be maintained collectively through our water bills, and then we collectively hire some to treat it before its sent on out to the rest of the Planet. And we have laws, ONLY BECAUSE SOME HAVE NOT BEEN RESPONSIBLE AND STILL WILL NOT IF THEY ARE NOT MADE TO BE FOR THE SURVIVAL OF OUR VERY LIVES. Its no different that having to form an army to protect the nation from military invaders trying to murder us all. We should not have to have an army of environmentalists in government agencies to protect ourselves from being annihilated by sickness and lack of food and water and clean air to breathe because an invading army of another kind has breached the borders of air , water and soil onto our lands and are killing us daily and all sentient life and vegetation that balances the nature to sustain itself. for us to survive. We, the people, do have to collectively form governments and have laws and regulations to force some to behave for the good of all or we will not survive over 500 million on this planet as there will be few places left that are safe to survive in .
The GEORGIA GUIDESTONES ARE TELLING US THAT IS WE DO NOT DO WHAT WE NEED TO TAKE CARE OF THIS PLANET THAT IS ABOUT THE NUMBER THAT WILL BE LEFT BY OUR NOT BEING RESPONSIBILITY TO EACH OTHER AS OUR CREATOR DESIGNED THIS PLANET IN SUCH A WAY THAT WE TAKE CARE OF EACH OTHER OR WE DO NOT SURVIVE OUR OWN IRRESPONSIBILITY.
How are we doing?
Not too well when humanity is trying to do something together as a whole world, and some things seem to make sense and other seem to be the elite trying to just control the masses even more. VOTE PEOPLE AND TRY TO ELECT THOSE WITH COMMON SENSE IN MATTERS OF THE SURVIVAL OF HUMANITY ON THE ONLY PLANET WE HAVE TO LIVE ON FOR AT LEAST ANOTHER HUNDRED YEARS.
This planet can take care of many more people if we do this until we have figured out how to move on out to the rest of the universe, which has been created for us to be there also. I do not know if there are other beings our there or not? I have not ever known any I knew were. The Bible indicates there well may be, But if there are, they wish us to be responsible to take care of our own messes. BUT THE UNIVERSE IS EVER GROWING SO THERE IS PLENTY OF PLACES TO GO FOR EVERY ONE and I have no doubt we will figure it all out in a few decades how to make other worlds livable. WE HAVE AN ENORMOUS GIFT GIVEN TO US., and plenty of room here for many more years for every one.
We are now there facing what we did not do as commanded in the first book of the Bible to Adam and Eve to take care of our home planet. and society is now having to pass laws, and enforce them to preserve our own lives which will not survive and too many ill already from what is being allowed to go on by some with huge money interests who seem to think ,their own human flesh will not survive what they themselves are carelessly doing . One can dig for resources, etc., but one HAS TO BE RESPONSIBLE TO DO IT SAFELY FOR ALL AND TO CLEAN UP TH MESS ONCE THE RESOURCE HAS BEEN GOTTEN.
So when I get our monthly 'water bill' the water is only about 20 to 30 dollars, But most of he bill that is usually near $100. is TO CLEAN UP THE MESS. Its for trash pick up so we do not burn the trash, and smoke up the air, even though we are still in rural area, it all accumulates. and then there is a percentage of water usage for water treatment and that is not only treating the water before we get it, but treating it before its sent on down to the river to go back on down to the next town or underground aquifer.
Also , included is another mess left behind by some, Stray dogs that no one seems to know whom they belong to left to fend for themselves on the streets and in rural areas There is no choice but to put them in a shelter, we all have to pay for together; and hope the owners can be located and they be more responsible, or find them new homes. THERE IS NOTING WORSE THAN TO TAKE AN ANIMAL THAT HAS NEVER LIVED ON ITS OWN IN HE 'WILD' AND TURN IT LOSE IN THE COUNTRY. TO FEND FOR ITSELF. Cats often find their way to a farm and mice are around for food. But if one was a cat and getting food was to run to ones dish when one heard the can opener opening ones can of cat food from the store, how well would you survive when it came time to have to hunt a mouse in a field or barn. when one was never taught those skills by ones mother who was also a pet cat who got her food from a can or big package? Instincts are there, but its a harsh reality when an occasional mouse caught by a pet cat then has to become survival to catch one daily or die..
Dogs do not seem to fare as well once have to survive on their own and in rural areas, a pack of dogs is dangerous and have to be dealt with by farmers and others when they decide to help themselves to ones personal livestock or chickens, etc. that are also ones livelihood. .. So if you have extra pets you do not want, at least try to find them a good home . Its called personal responsibility , etc. to those pets we love to take care of them.
So I am the one who pays the monthly household bills, now as my mom who raised me did before me. and the ' water bill' includes a long list of things we now pay for to 'clean up the mess' left from our forbears and try to prevent any more messes for our present and future generations to deal with .
What I call the 'water bill' is still only a small amount for the 'WATER' but most of the cost if for the rest taking responsibility collectively by each household contributing to the whole for the planet and those unable to take care of themselves among the animals of the earth some have 'left behind' to fend for themselves.
On occasion, I am going to try and share the teachings of the source for the GEORGIA GUIDESTONES so all can understand it did not come from one who said go out and kill masses of people at all. Read them carefully and do not let others perverse interpretations mislead you. It snot about being put under a dictator at all. But it is a warning that if we do not take personal responsibility for what we do and use in the air, water, and soil, etc. of this planet, then society has to intervene for its own survival when a few leave a mess , that endangers the very life o he people and the planet. and if no one is responsible then we will be lucky if life can be sustained at over 500, million as we have a lot of toxic stuff being spewed out that if not controlled by the human creators of it, has to be done by enforceable laws made by societies and governments or NONE WILL SURVIVE UNTIL WE CAN MOVE ON TO OTHER PLANETS, and then will we have learned how not to MESS UP THE NEW WORLDS SOME HAVE MOVED TO ? as our descendants self govern themselves in the new worlds of the future, Just as they did in the New world of the Americas just a few hundred years ago.
