SO some entity is going to get paid this money to find out what all of us already know, and do some studies to see the impact on business and government, etc. And there is still nothing in place to stop the already unethical companies, from setting up another corporation and saying hire me. POGO said I needed to update the flash drive and prompted me to adobe and it ran the program and said it was already in stalled but it does not work. so Dell is calling me tomorrow as they are trying to figure it all out . Windows 10 had wanted to start doing some pre installation and I had said OK BUT THE FIRST THING MCAFEE DID WITHOUT MY PERMISSION IS TURN OFF MY SECURITY I HAD AND INSTALLED THEIRS/ . FOR A YEAR ON WINDOWS 10 WE WILL GET THEM FREE THEN HAVE TO PAY FOR SECURITY.
I HAVE IT SET TO SHARE MY SETTINGS ON THE DESK TOP IN THE CENTRAL AREA OF THE HOME AND IT WENT AND TURNED IT OFF THERE ALSO BEFORE I GOT IN AND TURNED IT BACK ON.
DELL HAD ALREADY DOWNLOADED THEIR ANTI SPY CLEANER IN MY LAPTOP, SO I WENT AND RAN IT AND CLEANED MY LAPTOP AND SECURED IT EVEN THOUGH THERE WAS NO INTERNET CONNECTION FOR OVER 2 HOURS AND I NEVER DID GET THROUGH ON THE LAND LINE PHONE TO THEM AS ALL WE GOT WAS MUSIC,
THIS OPM HACK IS NOT A FEW MILLION FEDS AT RISK OF SOMEONE SNOOPING, FOR OVER 15 YEARS NOW I AND SEVERAL OF THE OIGS;S HAVE TIRED TO GET SOME ATTN TO THE FACT THAT OUR GOVT DATA AND SYSTEMS WERE NOT SECURE AND NONE WERE WATCHING OUT FOR OUR MOST PERSONAL AND PRIVATE OF MEDICAL AND FINANCIAL INFO NOW ALL OWNED BY THE GOVT CONTRACTORS WITH NO BUDGET FOR OVER SIGHT NOR CRIMINAL INVESTIGATIONS WHEN REAL CRIMES AND BLATANT HUGE THEFTS OCCUR.
All of our medical care is not government controlled and this places each one at real life risk if something goes wrong and NONE HAVE BEEN WATCHING OUT AND CHINA MAY ONLY BE THE ROUTE THE THIEVES AND OTHERS USED TO GET INTO OUR NATION;S RECORDS ON EACH OF US AND THE GOVT;S ALSO FOR WHAT EVER NEFARIOUS PURSUITS THEY WISH TO USE IT FOR.
For 30 years, our leaders in Washington and in our state houses also, have left it up to the government contractors to provide security and most of us have more on our personal P/C's? than they did.? Maybe before any of us give an govt contractors pretending to be the govt now our personal data or money, we should check to see if there is an icon on their site saying they have signed up with a cyber security company as we all have been trained to do when buying or paying for things on line.
There is now a congressional investigation gong on of the congressional budget office for its been there job over the last 30 years to make sure there is adequate budget for cyber security as well as other security needs of the nation.and our government. DID THEY MISS THAT THERE WAS NOT ANY?
