Daily Recap 12/7/12: Income Tax Law created Big Money Coup?: President Obama Born In Toepka KS:
Pleasant but Dry day. Cold weather expected next week. Family member had a doctor appt so Doyle and I did not get to work on filings. and  I rested and did some sorting .
                                              US CELLULAR UPDATE
Yesterday evening I got a call back from the complaint dept  at US Cellular in Chicago. She called me form my phone message left with their Press people. Press offices for companies usually do understand the impact of issues as I wrote about a couple of days ago. Whom do you call when there are cell tower or cyber security problems.? No One if you are not the customer or want to be a customer. She had no record of Homeland Security ever calling the company. so if soeone attacks the grid physically or through cyberspace, no ones home at Homeland? Someone else may have done something as by the end of the night, when I called back the numbers, there was a recording but it did not identify it was US cellular. Which i shared this with the woman who called me. Our leaders try to scare everyone to allow all kinds of big amounts of money to be given all those defense contractors and yet no ones home when something happens that indicates our basic and tenable grid or internal defenses are in trouble and could well be an attack wither foreign or domestic.
UNLESS? this is a ruse to up the bills on people who are customers? How many will check their bill to make sure they didn't call my number when its only a minute here and a minute there? And add that t to a lot of customers and it could be thousands of minutes and monies diverted to? A hacker doing it for greed and not because they 'hate' the USA?
All the talking form yesterday left me needed laying still and resting.
                                         USA,  MODERN COMMUNICATIONS  DIVIDE US?
I did learn a little more about the culture on the west coast in California. We lived there for a few years decades ago and thought i understood it. But there are changes. There is a big disconnect culturally between ares of this country and it is a worse split than one may imagine. I talked to some nice people at the state level, but he higher up went in the State govt, made we understand there is a distancing of some form what is really going on among the people. No wonder Congress is so gridlocked and as no one seems to be able to understand each other and those each represents form their home states. How can we all watch these TV shows and news casts and get so divided. We don;t all watch the same shows any more. when one has 250 channels to choose form plus t\ world wide choices on the Internet, each is choosing their own personal interests and that can vary even in ones own household. Modern communications has divided more than brought together? and big money can take advantage and they end up the winners as they keep us divided and make more profits and gain more of the power that belongs to the people.

Only mail was ads. our local banks have all stopped use of ATM;s and there is an alert out that someone got hold of debit and credit card numbers. form multiple banks. Police are investigating. Not the feds? of course not, each ATM debit or credit card theft has to be $5000 before they intervene even though its a type of bank robbery. Small town police have to crack the case! Our prayers for all small police depts and sheriffs in this nation that are often the only law enforcement available even with federal crimes of trillions, which is why the real expert thieves take little amounts and from many places. All the billions spent on Homeland security to share info to catch the big bad guys(and gals) is still not in place after a decade. just what are they doing? once in a while there is a press release from the FBI that they caught someone trying to do something considered terrorism. But when one cant get money form an ATM and for over a week its been a limit of $100 during gift buying season, that disrupts our economy, too. We've had an alert for over a month that if we try to use our bank card to buy for California we can;t do so. That means on line purchases. Pay pal must be the big winner from that.
PRESIDENT OBAMA BORN IN TOPEKA KS; I did learn yesterday from those in California I talked with is that few seemed to be aware of the birth certificate controversy or any controversy at all. Even Orly Tait lives in California? They don't understand that there are problems with documents. Of course I get a lot of info on line, but even in speaking to those in other parts of the country and locally, most seem to know something about something. And it causes 'lack of confidence' and did affect voting. so we have secession petitions being signed. THE CONSTITUTION OF THE UNITED STATES ARTICLE 1 SECTION 2 (continued) The Number of Representatives shall not exceed one for every thirty Thousand, but each State shall have at least one Representative;and until such enumeration shall be made, the State of New Hampshire shall be entitled to chuse three, Massachusetts eight, Rhode-Island and Providence Plantations one, Connecticut five, New-York six, New Jersey four, Pennsylvania eight, Delaware one, Maryland six, Virginia ten, North Carolina five, South Carolona five, and Georgia three." Of couurse as the nation grew in poplulation it no longer was one for thrity thousand and one Rrepresentative for smallest states. Today one may represents citien that have never met him or her. Unlike when one is the representaive of such a small number who would have known the person and family and voting for that person would be voting for someone whom one had a direct understanding of. As i mentioned previously in my discussion of the Constitution and Bill of Rights as a faith docuemnt and efore that the Ten Commandments as a secular document for governing, the power is supposed to be in the people. And abuses of power by someone getting too much power can be stopped by the "blalnce of pwoers' our Constitution gives the people. According to the original, the states collected the tax moneis and then sent it to the Federal govt to do the things they were to do for the nation.Individuals and entities thus were taxed inside the states and by the states? Then, instead of higly paid lobbyists from the few wlth great money and powerful entities lobbying Congress. The stste legislatures and states would be the lobbyists and helping more to convince the Federal govt what needed to be done for the country as a whole? The Federal Income Tax, which is only about a hundred years old, seems to have upset the balance of powers and taken the power and attention toward those in Congress and away from the states and the states elected leaders. While there are those advocating secession, maybe what is needed is to get back to the beginnig of some of the basic priciples when the people in their states had greater power. When states did not treat all equally, and laws had to be changed and amendments made to keep rights for all after a bloddy civil war that almost ended the "great Amercian experiment" we may have reached the point when the Federal govt has now upset the balance of power by the influence of such huge money intersts that usually do not serve the intersts of all of us. Monies are going where? While our basic infrastructre has collapsed. That's not a welfare check or food stanps for the poor and all those entitilement programs some wish to cut to balance the budget. Roads and bridges and all the other basics is something we all use and need for the 'GENERAL welfare' of all of us. Maybe as the song says its time "to get back to the garden" back to the begining and review if what we have done and changed was always for the better. And if we think not, amend and alter what is needed. We live in a differnt and very modern and scientific world much diffent than in the late 1700's. The principles of life , liberty and the pursuit of happiness for each individual is still the 'prime directive.' But how we can each have that may need some review and splitting and dividing is not the answer, in my opinion. We have become more diverse in many ways than in 1776. Ask 300 milion citizens to describe 'God' and one might get 3000 milion versions even though many will say they belong to the same religon and sect of a major religion and some of none. We do';t have all the answers, yet. We need to keep our wonderful diversity and work together for those things we do need to take care of so we can continue being so diverse and sharing with each other for greater understanding of all of us, ididiually and collectively. My few phone calls , to me, showed there is a disconnect that is both wonderful and a concern at the same time.Wonderful to be so diverse but a concern when the roads and highways are falling down and endangering all of us no latter what our opinions might be. Hunger and homelessness and ill health are everyone's concerns if we wish to retain our basic humanity that makes us such wonderful human beings in the first place. Govt. as we the people. need to put in place those things and policies that help each to be individually self sufficient. We have not accomplished that yet and need to figure out whoat we are doing right and change what we are not doing right. TOMORROW:VACANCY! Linda Joy adams 12/7/12
