Most people have heard that there was a massacre of some 1,000 people in the small West African country of Ivory Coast. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton said the United States is “deeply concerned” about the protection of human rights there and has called for President Laurent Gbagbo to step down immediately to prevent further slaughtering of innocents.
