Some do through bad choices they have made in their own lives, some have no one to look out to make sure their bills are paid on time even when they do have an income of some sort and its not always such an easy job to look out for ones loved ones and neighbors.
BUT WE STILL HAVE THE WORKING POOR IN THIS NATION AND OTHERS WHO HAVE FALLEN INTO HARD TIMES AND SOMETIMES THEY GOT ROBBED BY THIS INTERNATIONAL CABAL THAT HAS TRICKED AND CAJOLED AND ENTICED FOLKS INTO PLACES TO LIVE THEY COULD NOT AFFORD.
But we also still are seeing lay offs in parts of our nation and world,
THERE IS SOMETHING WRONG IN A NATION WHERE WE HAVE VACANT PLACES TO LIVE AND HOMELESS NEEDING A HOME many of them are families.
MAYBE WE NEED FREE ADS FOR Homeless family with children needing a place to live. Willing to cook and clean and do yard work in exchange for room and board.
W e are more willing to open our hearts and homes to homeless cats and dogs then people. And there are good reasons to be cautious with those we do not know. BUT DO YOU KNOW A FRIEND OR LOVED ONE THAT IS WITH OUT A HOME? Its why we have all those entitlement and low income programs available so that folks can get a meager income and then go find a home.
but the distance between the income and the cost of a small , modest apartment of small home is growing every day so that one does not meet so one pays for the other.
Yet those in elected office can't seem to get all those experts together and figure out a better way of helping others help themselves. When they do find something that works, soon its cut or abandoned as was a program called the FHA 235 program where he taxpayer would pay to subsidize a low income home owner. I knew of success stories in this program. BUT IT WAS ABANDONED.
A young mother got into a modest home, part of her welfare check was applied to the mortgage nd taxpayer helped with the rest. In 15 years she owned the home and her children were older and she went to work and the lat I heard had retired in the same home. In city areas , this would apply to condos.
We also abandoned the prefab homes which were built in factories and then put on lots with a foundation prepared and home owners insurance was more reasonable . And went to trailers and modular homes that the insurance is high in comparison as they are not as sturdy to withstand winds.
Some of our elected officials keep getting bamboozled all along.
ALL OF THIS IS MUCH BETTER THAN PUBLIC HOUSING AND GHETTOS AND NO ONE EVER GETTING AHEAD TO BE INDEPENDENT FINANCIALLY. PLUS ALL THE OTHER SOCIAL PROBLEMS THAT GO ALONG WITH PUTTING ALL THE POOR IN TO ONE BUILDING WITH ALL THE PROBLEMS THAT MAY HAVE CAUSED SOME OF THEM TO BE POOR IN THE FIRST PLACE. That is where too often our innocent children get shoved in to and wonder why its has become problem ridden for the future.
We need laws that give s a hand up and not entrap. Rather than programs that enslave others.
And its not always spending more money, but spending the money up front to help others start on a path to financial independence. BUT WE HAVE TO BE OPEN TO EVEN HELPING OTHERS IN NEED AND WONDER IF WE ARE LOSING OUR HUMANITY SOMETIMES IN ALL OF THE THINGS BEING SAID AS IF ONE IS POOR OR CHALLENGED IN SOME WAY THEY ARE NOT WORTHY OF OUR RESPECTFUL CARING.
Yes, some do not make it. But often they are those with other problems than just poverty. We have to see the end of the path where the tax payers have successfully helped our neighbors so that they may one day no longer need our help and can help others.
In researching partial solar for the home, their seems to be all kinds of problems to this. In the manual for the solar generator it said the battery could not take below freezing weather. And putting panels on roofs runs in to insurance costs and other issues. So now we are looking in to a wind generator for partial usage. And how much will the Tesla battery for the home cost that is suppose to be coming out this Fall? IF IT IS WHAT EVERYONE SAYS IT WILL DO. ND THE COST IS WITHIN REASON, THEN ITS GOING TO CHANGE THE WORLD TO ENERGY INDEPENDENCE FOR EACH PERSON.
I'm no scantiest and others are busy, so here I am doing the research and trying to figure out things I know little about other than pictures and everyone saying its should be done. It gas to be cost effective and work. I wish all those saying we should do alternative energies had some practical info out there as to what really works and what are all the hidden costs other than the equipment and will it work and how well will it work? When one is just doing it for a home or part of a home? The info is not easy to find out at all. And then will one invest thousands of dollars and find out something new and better and cheaper is almost ready for market. Wind has been around long time, But birds used to get caught in the blades and we do not want to harm the ones who live here every year. So has that been taken care of yet?
ALL THOSE SAYING WE SHOULD DO OUR PART FOR CLIMATE CHANGE , HELP US WITH SOME PRACTICAL INFO AS TO HOW TO DO IT ON A FIXED INCOME IN STAGES AND MEET THE CODES FOR THE AREA ONE LIVES IN AND NOT HAVE INSURANCE RATES SKYROCKET FOR COVERAGE.
