(The note in my Bible says that shaking the head was an act of derision. There are so many phrases in Lamentations that are the same as in Revelation 12 and then through out the Bible referring to the same. So is it the Virgin Mary as the Roman Catholics say . or Israel as many others say or the church or if one take the Bible very literally it is the symbol of JERUSALEM AND ONE OR OTHERS THAT REPRESENT HER ON EARTH THEN , NOW OR IN THE FUTURE?)) Certainly not the fertility goddess of the MYSTERY BABYLON RELIGION THAT TURNED HER INTO THAT... AT ALL but some n the world still believe in that faith and its causes a lot of angst for most of the rest of us.. and rumors of evil practices. we cannot tolerate of human sacrifice etc.
