Her story and ordeal is all too common place and all who are facing the death of a loved one or of the more seniors among us could gain a lot of insight in to the reality of what our society has become and set up. What we hear and think is going on is not what the real world is like when one has to live through it and face financial changes.
For years, I was the one you talked to at the Social security office,, and although I did care, there was little one could do stuck in a system that only goes so far. We have those also who pay in double for two full payments and SSA cuts those back as Society thought double dipping was wrong when one paid in to a govt pension and also Social Security and if we don't face it some may find those regular private pensions are offsetting their SSA checks too as Congress can change and alter as they see fit to do
And for almost thirty years the issue of paying double Medicare part B premiums has never been allowed to have judicial review either as the law is clear THAT government pension offset does not apply to Medicare and the original programming done when SSA had their own in house ones withheld the premium first then the offset was done. But when Microsoft et al got the contract to redo SSA's entire systems, the programming got done to offset first then with hold and some got sent bills, but the system is messed up as the original programming is still in there and some with temporary estimated amounts do not get bills as their workers comp is not expected to take years to get reinstated when they have an established case with permanent medical benefits. Who expected a govt contractor to take over and throw away ones files and even the judges orders if one is on their 'black list.' as 90 of us HHS employees were put on before we got to the hospitals in Jersey City back on 1/10/89. IT WAS SOME ONE'S WELL THOUGHT OUT PLAN TO TAKE OVER THIS NATION AND OUR MONIES AND RESOURCES. IT WAS NOT THE WILL OF THE PEOPLE WHO ARE TO RULE THROUGH OUR ELECTED LEADERS AT ALL. AND NOW EACH IS NOW BEING DIRECTLY AFFECTED BY THIS COUP IN WAYS SOME HAVE YET TO UNDERSTAND UNTIL ITS MADE CLEAR THROUGH SOMETHING THAT OCCURS TO THEM AND THE RIGHTS AND HELPS OF THE PAST SYSTEM ARE NO LONGER THERE.
Congress passes laws and then never is able to get back to do real over sight as the agencies themselves loose control by handing the whole over to govt contractors AND THEY ARE NEVER ASKED TO APPEAR IN FRONT OF CONGRESS AND ASKED QUESTIONS AS TO WHAT THEY ARE DOING. WAS Bill Gates EVER ASKED TO ANSWER QUESTIONS ABOUT THE SSA SYSTEM WHICH WE NOW KNOW AS BEING VULNERABLE TO HACKING AND NOW LOCK HEED MARTIN AND OTHERS ARE WRITING SOFTWARE FOR SSA AND THINGS ARE EVEN WORSE.
Congress they are the ones to be asking questions of as they are the only ones who really know what is going on and with trillions of dollars of our monies not accounted for , they are the only ones who can answer the questions to find the monies and restore our inalienable rights to all of us. THE CENTRAL BANK I WAS TRYING TO GET TO IN A DREAM LAST NIGHT, IS IT THE IMF OR THE FEDERAL RESERVE THAT HAS DIVERTED MONIES THAT WAS PROPERLY AND LEGALLY ASKED TO SEND TO THE DESIGNATED INDIVIDUALS OR ENTITIES OR TRANSFER TO ANOTHER GOVT AGENCY FOR THEM TO THEN ASK FOR IT TO BE SENT ON TO A PERSON OR ENTITY THAT WAS AND IS TO LEGALLY RECEIVE IT?
Big monies have been appropriated that seem never to get to the entities or persons the law passed said it was to be sent to and the only entity that it goes through to be diverted elsewhere is the federal reserve who gets the authorizations or 'checks' to be sent and then is to OK the transaction and where was the money sent?
Only they know for sure unit an internal audit that is complete is done and none has been done for over a hundred years. If some one high up in an agency did the diverting, then only the Federal Reserve has the record, also. They hold the evidence of who should be getting arrested for theft? We are a nation with great wealth and resources and high skills of the people and something just does not 'compute' to the broken mess we are in.
Why has a coup d'etat been allowed to occur through Xerox et al and their front companies like Affiliated Computer Services and all their interlocked corporations et al which now controls all parts of health care in almost the entire nation and in Europe and other nations? Is there a CIA connection behind all of it going back 30 years or so to take away all of our constitutional rights? Who are they? Don't they work for us??
WE MAY ALL BE IN THE SAME SITUATION AS CARMEN CHILSON'S LOVED ONE SOME DAY. AND IN TOO MANY CASES IN REAL LIFE AND DEATH STRUGGLES THAT SHOULD NOT OCCUR if the system was designed to have checks and balances in it to stop wrong doings and make sure everyone is assured their rights.
A lot got lost back in the 80"s when the charitable DEDUCTION GOT reduced to very little. Corporations used to give a break to the elderly and the widowed, etc.
Our system is set up so if one partner dies in a household the income is reduced as if only the expense of food and clothing for the second person is all that is not needed. All the other costs go on as the expenses of phone and TV which few of us in rural areas can get any channels free now as that new Digital boxes and new TVS just do not pick up the signals for the "free" channels any more and most are either paying extra to get them or one satellite company adds them is 'free' as an enticement to buy their service.
Corporations used to be in a higher tax rate and not entice and lobby Congress to lower it. Congress used to 'control their behavior' by allowing them to deduct for charity and that could have been a reduced cost for those in need. What businesses offer such any more? Few; as there is no tax incentive to do so . It used to be for all of us, give to charity and lower us into a lower tax bracket and we came out ahead and feeling good for helping others by our giving. Charts were published in newspapers at the end of the year where we could check to know how much would help us come out a head. I remember one year, giving $75 put us in a lower bracket and we gained from it. We either helped "Uncle Sam" or we helped a non profit who helped those in our own community. Is that controlling our behavior? In a way, but we also were able to choose who got helped directly.
We have to address the whole and pretty soon as even in medical care which is no pretty much a dog eat dog for profit system ( sorry dogs , I do like you as human companions)
The issue is big money is spent and then when some new treatment comes along, the whole system is locked into out dated methods and the new and better health care is denied and life is shortened over PROFIT.
We need some form of inter 'tween' tax system where its can not be for profit , yet not non profit as makers of equipment, etc do need an incentive to be able to invest and discover. But what is going on now, is not good for any and the wealthy get more so off the misery of humanity and human misbehavior is not stopped by society which has always had some way of policing the system to atop others from doing harm to each others and to the people as a whole.
IT TIME FOR A NEW THINKING But keep our US CONSTITUTION AS ITS STILL THE BEST GUIDE EVER DESIGNED AS IT CAN BE AMENDED AS WE HAVE NEW UNDERSTANDINGS OF WHAT IT TRUTH AND RIGHTS TO BE MAINTAINED FOR ALL AND ESPECIALLY THOSE WEAKER AMONG US TO FIGHT FOR THOSE INDIVIDUAL RIGHTS OF LIFE, LIBERTY AND THE PURSUIT OF HAPPINESS.
I woke up this AM having a very strange dream that mixed past , present and maybe a future path to be taken. Got out my dream books, and still am pondering it all. But, one truth is clear, we do need to rethink the total whole to sustain life and society as we can not sustain what we are doing now with our rights being obliterated and our society with it. $28.74 was the amount on a check I had written to be deposited in a bank in a city I have not lived in for decades and in a car we had as a child, yet I was grown up.
What does it all mean? Society is driving the wrong way and need to return to our strengths of the past and present and create a future where good over comes evil. Our creator, YAHUSHA WHOM WE CHRISTIANS CALL CHRIST JESUS HAS GIVEN US BRAINS TO FIGURE IT ALL OUT AND WE HAVE ALL OUR ANCESTORS WISDOM TO GUIDE US AND ALSO ALL THEIR MISTAKES TO NOT HAVE TO REPEAT.
But as for that check amount? I did the adding up of the numbers and it came out to three which is the TRINITY number where all three come together to be able to be used of Mind body spirit, etc. or the Trinity of Father , son and Holy Spirit which is there for each of us to rely on always. I also woke up with a sinus headache so life itself can be a headache is for sure. but some steamy cayenne pepper tea has helped.
We have had more rain and the crepe myrtles are gorgeous this year that Doyle planted the first year we lived here now 17 years ago. And we thought retirement would be much different than the current battle for life and livelihood we and so much of society has gotten into as we go on along the same path and can't turn the corner to a new one and new way of doing things.
But the path I and others are on , is not of our making or choosing as the systems put in place are such that it will take all of us together to make sure we elect those to office that will make the turn to a new and better way for all. The Past may be learned from , but it will not go on forever with out losses we are all experiencing n many ways, including our very freedoms.
That is my over all dream interpretation and one does not have to have a dream to know what is HEART WRENCHING REALITY that things are not going well for any of us in our present state of affairs in our personal, national or world lives we are all connected to.
