National Honesty Index The 2014 study on honesty I out that rates how honest we are in very cities of the USA. Last year's put the most dishonest city as Washington DC and wonder how all those elected officials and others come from such honest people around the country and then move to a city of the least honest? That old phrase " absolute power corrupts absolutely seems to be an accurate one as we the people have allowed our leaders to have that absolute power over us.
What we need is all those honest people voting, then we might really see a change in this nation.
It does not seem what form of government one has, if the people do not have an input, those in power have the human weaknesses to abuse the power of the offices they hold And in Washington, D.C. big money influence does add to the temptation to be 'dishonest' when upholding the rights of all of us and upholding the constitutional mandate of " general welfare of the people and the security of the nation " and the impasses over these too is very 'dishonest' in my humble opinion.
Have to cut this short as stayed up late last night helping Doyle with some of his matters as he has helped me so much over our 50+ years of marriage.
Over half of that has been since I was injured on the job at SSA part of HHS then when a toxic cloud enveloped me while seated at my desk in a building that could not have passed city , state or federal inspections for us even to be in and the fire dept. had threatened condemnation on a new building if flawed construction was not fixed and had already been cited. (We did not know this and were not informed.) So Hartz Mountain Industries turns off the gas detectors instead of spending some money on fixing things and CNA insurer has led the cover up starting with blacklisting 90 federal employees before we even get to the hospitals and making sure all got turned away and no diagnostic tests run? Except I got through the system in a mix up where others were going through my purse for info and misread my AFGE Union insurance card as the insurance for Port Authority in Jersey City and I got all the tests run and being near death was being prepared for admission to have the treatment all of us should have had, when the diagnosis of toxic fume inhalation was made and the ER doctor came to fill out the Toxic exposure report for the State health dept. and found out I worked for SSA and sent me home to die as DEATH PANEL DECISIONS HAD ALREADY BEEN MADE.
My co workers were already sent away with NO RIGHT OF LIFE AND TOO MAY HAVE DIED PREMATURELY OVER THE YEARS AND MY MEDICAL RECORDS BECAME THEIR PRECEDENT CASE AND GREED AND DISHONESTY OVER COMES THE MAJORITY OF GOOD AND DECENT PEOPLE. I BECAME A TARGET WHOSE MEDICAL RECORDS BLESS THE WHISTLE ON THE WORSE KIND OF DISHONESTY THAT BEGAN THE PATH TO 9/11/01 in earnest and the crimes and cover ups since then hastened us in to wars and coups of our own nation in to a international cabal whose hidden and subtle over throw of our government is the MOST DISHONEST ACT ONE CAN DO WHEN DEATH AND DESTRUCTION RESULTS.
DISHONESTY AMONG THE FEW HAS LED US DOWN PATHS OF DESTRUCTION AND WARS AND GOVERNMENTS THAT DO NOT WORK AS THEY SHOULD.
How is it the system is so broken we can not turn this around.
ANOTHER OLD PHRASE SEEMS TO FIT. "WHEN GOOD PEOPLE DO NOTHING,"
WHY DO WE DO THIS. WHEN FACED WITH EVIL ARE WE SO GOOD WE DO NOT KNOW HOW TO DEAL WITH IT? Being honest should mean having the faith to stand ones convictions. of decency and fairness and justice for all.
FAITH AND HONESTY DO NOT SEEM TO ALWAYS GO HAND IN HAND IN OUR ACTIONS. FAITH IN SOMETHING GREATER THAN US, MAY BE THE ANSWER.
Yahusha,, whom we Christians all Christ Jesus is what I hold on to and His unconditionally love for each of us with promises made He does not break. He only asks us to believe and the end result is eternal life for standing up for live and justice for all. Those who hold a faith that gives them that are blessed. Those who do not hold such a faith in a Divine entity, must rely on society as a whole to be the foundation to hold on to. Humanity does sometimes fail ourselves.
I am one that does have faith in humanity and we see times when strangers help each other out even to risking ones life for a prefect stranger. There is something in each of us that seems to be foundation of goodness. Democracy in any form, including our system based on the power of the people being the ultimate governing body, relies on our participating at least in voting.
WE ARE NOT GOING TO ALWAYS AGREE ON WHO SHOULD HOLD OFFICE OR WHAT LAWS SHOULD BE PASSED. BUT WITHOUT THE UNIQUE GIFTS AND INSIGHTS OF EACH OF US, DISHONESTY AND ABUSES OF POWER BY A FEW AND BIG MONEY INTERESTS ARE GOING TO GRAB THE POWER WE ARE TO HOLD THROUGH OUR INDIVIDUAL VOTES.
Must rest and get back to the mountain of paper work that we must climb to sustain life and livelihood. If it were not for some DISHONEST FOLK HOLDING SECRET POWER OVER US AND OUR GOVERNMENT WE WOULD NOT BE HAVING TO MAKE THE CLIMB.
